To all Congress hopefuls, both present and future:

If you are a Congress member or Congress candidate, you must not be in the Philippine Marine Corps or Philippine Navy. These are overseas units and are expected to be deployed at a moments notice. The home units (Special Ops and Army) are not under the obligation to be deployed. If you are running for Congress, or have most recently been elected to Congress, you should be a member of one of the home based units.

Transferring from one unit to the other is very easy. Just contact your Commanding Officer. If all else fails contact me directly or through the Philippines Defense Dept. Let your CO know that you are running for Congress and can no longer serve in that particular unit.

If you were selected for the South Korea anti-PTO squad and you are running for Congress, you are exempt from that order under the condition that you should be transferred to a home based unit. Please make sure to contact your CO, myself or the Philippines Defense Dept org.
