[dMoFA] Affairs of the Foreign Kind

Day 1,999, 02:12 Published in Pakistan Serbia by Nyx Lynx

As our little eWorld spins in weird directions, I shall try my best to tackle some issues for all you wonderful readers to gulp it down.

Pakistan and India:

Well let’s start with home. I shall inform you about our stance regarding the relationship with eIndia. The story is pretty short albeit interesting. We had no plans of airstriking eIndia whatsoever until the ex CP of eIndia, Hamturk just trolled told us to do it. Both the sides were a tad bored, and we were aiming for a BabyBoom.

After a successful airstrike, we didn’t fight in the RW in Andhra Pradesh so that they could have their region back.We always wanted to negotiate and open talks to keep the BabyBoom project open but their ex CP was reluctant and got in Belarus to Airstrike us. The results were however pretty astounding for them. We managed to thwart down the airstrike easily and successfully.

We would like to profusely thank our allies and everyone who helped us and partied with us 🙂 Thank you so much!

India and Albania:

Now here is something very interesting. Albania proposed an airstrike on the Indian region of Gujarat to get Congress. Most of the Indians were fighting against it, opening supplies and the Serbians and Thailand also came to help. But soon, Indians themselves were shocked to learn that a covert rental deal had been forged by their CP Alias Vision with the Albanians letting them take their region for 30k .

India and Albania agreement by Alias Vision

This was supposedly an executive decision and most of the Indians are expressing their dismay and anguish over it.

Croatia:

Strategically Croatia is playing their cards pretty smartly. Although clearly they are leaning towards CoT, they are equally likely to start their own alliance too. They have created a comfortable niche in Asia, with friends Bosnia and Herzegovina and now Albania on their side.

This bloc will most likely help them gain leverage even if they move into CoT and with USA being very friendly towards Croatia. Bulgarian ascendancy in CoT affairs might have to be shared with Croatia as they are now emerging stronger and this gives them a good standpoint to hold negotiations in CoT if they were to join it. The whole world is interested to know what Croatia is going to do.

NaN

NaN and its members are very happy with each other. We have a very healthy and organic relationship with every country eager to support each other. Australia, South Africa, Cyprus, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan together look forward to better and greater things.

We would like to congratulate Malaysia who emerged victorious with support of NaN in the war against Montenegro.

EDEN-ENDED

There was a lot of nostalgia floating around with players of late EDEN reminiscing about the good times of past and bad times of present. And it’s all over....

Co-T-wo breakup

[img][/img]
The CoT/TWO marriage has ended with EDEN’s dissolution. And like typical ex-spouses they are at each others’ throats trying to divide the remnant ex EDEN countries between each other. The funny thing however is the amount of propaganda articles and wily comments that float around in an attempt to sneak countries into their side lol

The internal dynamics between the member countries have never been more complex. With former friends becoming enemies and former enemies becoming friends, it will be certainly a convoluted sight to watch until it settles down into a natural order. The split seems to be more deliberate than natural since the game thrives on war and hence no room for world peace. You even gain extra points for making a natural enemy 😛

Looks like the idea of world peace in RL is more plausible than in our little eWorld.

The volatility factor is very high with countries joining and leaving and I think China is pretty intelligent to wait it out diplomatically until the dust settles.

Romania mania:

Romania is welcomed with open arms by members of TWO and the eRomance has taken CoT by a violent storm where Bulgaria along with its allies have been relentlessly trying to pummel Romania which also happened to be the CoT priority.

USA in CoT:

TWO’s main resentment with CoT seems to be the latter’s inclusion of USA as an ally.

USA-AIM

Tensions seemed to flare up within USA when hardcore damage-inducing MUs teamed up to create what is known as US-AIM who went on to pick Spain as target.

The US government seems to think that AIM has been aimlessly picking targets without its approval and should have waited for orders from the government instead of taking matters into their own hands. From a diplomatic POV, the government seems to think that since USA is only new to CoT, they should have waited before taking such radical steps. A subtle tone of minor annoyance was also reflected in CoT’s official address.

“While the internal cohesion of the country continue to be one area of concern it has improved during the month and all indications are that it will continue to do so.”

The US-AIM however thinks that all work (+ train) and no play make Uncle Sam a dull boy and they had to vent out their pent-up frustration against anything that looks like an enemy. The moment they saw Paz Vega they decided to blow off their load steam in that direction.

Lack of wars and boredom has birthed this faction of US-big guns who definitely made their booming voice heard all the way till Espania.

US-AIM Why is the table round? by Cubby
All in all, USA has now become a fun place and more democratic 🙂

Spain:

Spain has been in a bit of hot water as they got ambushed by ASGARD, Portugal and US making them go WTF. But they are most likely to regroup along with TWO even though a few of the Spaniards expressed some displeasure and dissent.

Lithuania :

Lithuania is out of CoT and has joined ACT and hence pro TWO. Lithuania has always had good relationship with member countries of TWO and since the Russian inclusion into CoT isn’t favorable to Lithuanian interests and talks between ASGARD and CoT over the cessation of hostilities were unacceptable to Lithuania, the referendum results show a whopping slide towards leaving CoT.

Thailand and Indonesia:

The entire world stopped for a moment to look into WTF really happened when Indo tried to NE Thailand. Rumor has it that it was randomly done by someone to have fun without the government’s approval. Thais waited patiently for an explanation from Indonesians before the counter proposal which was also shot down and the dust settled.

So the ones expecting world wars should only be content with word wars happening in international media lately.

Despite innumerable differences, the entire eWorld however unites into agreeing about one thing that erepublik is set out to e-rape-the-publik by introducing features to encourage card swiping : P

Day 2000 will be the one to watch!

I am wrapping it up for today, and I shall bring more news from around the world and also try harder to make those articles not suck as much as this one : P

Votes, subscriptions, comments, critiques and suggestions are most appreciated.
