[DIO] The official clarification for our vegetarian foes.

Day 2,212, 22:52 Published in Pakistan Serbia by Shin Gouki

Dear Friends and eCitizens,

Core to the Dioism is the understanding that all RL faiths and religions are not part of this game. Dioists believe in a game beyond borders and gold and strength. We believe in the game beyond the game.

Recently there were some articles in the press that involved RL religion. I and many other players got dragged into the complex web of passions that exist when RL religion and our core game ideals get mixed up. There were blasphemous trolls against Dioism and against RL religions.

I am absolutely clear that Dioism is THE oldest and most important and critical movement in the game. Dioism has an ability to bring together cultures, countries, faiths, levels, genders and all societies to a place where we can be who we want to be in the game! Dioism is a supportive movement, where new players and veterans gather to share perspectives and inspire activity beyond 2clicking!

After looking at the reactions my comments have stirred I do have some clarification at hand for some of my eIndian foes. I do understand some of you are hurt at reading what has been written there. However, you must observe that my comments were based on a cartoon and not your RL God. I do categorically comment on the cartoon as the primary subject, whilst describing a picture that popped up on google. The graphical content did allow me to bend the description in order for it to be used as troll material but the troll was based on the character sketched by the artist. I did not want to offend my eFriends. We are all brothers in the eyes of Dio.

All trolls are edgy, and sometimes cross the boundaries. Sometimes they are acceptable, sometimes they are not. On this occasion, mine were clearly not. I did not by any means try to defame a RL God. My comments were based on a cartoon/animation. My comments described the physical appearance of the said sketch and the intention of using such harsh troll tactics was to teach MohanB a lesson. We should keep RL and Game separate. I have spent time talking to Dio, and I understand the importance of unity and shared faith.

Dioism is the game outside the game. Where the game ends dioism begins. If it were a fake eReligion anyone who read those comments would have gone meh :/. However, there are the dioists who are equally hurt by reading the comments made by our dear friends. So if your purpose was to insult Dio Brando, a cartoon according to you. My purpose was similarily to insult another animated character and not a RL deity. I apologize for crossing the line.

I ask all the rebelious butthurt ePakistanis to wear their bangles and come home.

Lets fight!
