[CPP] Our P.O.V. On The D.A.L.

Hello eCanada,

To those of you currently involved/aware of the events, currently taking place in the political landscape in eCanada - you are much aware to what has happened recently to the DAL....

A quick TL😉R of the situation... if you will.... (literally, in 3 steps)

1) Janos, a competent Party Candidate, runs for (and eventually wins) the seat of DAL Party Presidency - with the *accused* (though not confirmed, mind you) false impression of having *DAL 100% at heart*.

2) Janos, after winning Party Presidency (and subsequently gaining access rights on the DAL forums), decides that it is time to *oust* Scorpius and Dominik from the DAL / forums - and decides to make his own forums for DAL (if they were intentionally supposed to be a joke - we are unaware!)

3) Finally, once realizing his plan had fallen right into place (huge media scandal, killing DAL - supposedly), the name of the party is changed to SCORPIUS KILLED THE DAL... as one of those final *stabs* to attack someone, before the ship of the DAL is *sunk*

So what does the CPP, one of DALs closest allies and friends as a party, think about the situation?

Basically, we're contemplating, and considering, a few possible things about the DAL...

First of all, we are fully aware as to what has happened, and we do realize the gravity of this situation.. after all, the DAL has gone from the #1 party to the #4 party - and we, as a party, certainly support all the work that many of the *elder* DAL members (Donimik, Frankypicoto, scorp, Relic10, so forth...) have done, to help try to keep the party stabilized, for the time being...

Next, we also recognize the *moral* behind this entire situation... we of course realize (and certainly hope that every other party as well realizes)... that it is unethical to continually have one person *in charge* so to speak, regardless of what eRepublik *election results* say... after all, this was part of the motive of the whole... coup d'état...

Finally, the CPP would officially like to announce, that it will certainly be here to help the DAL (of course, we're here to help any party in need, if they really really need it), and to do whatever it takes, to help them get back on their feet.. and to help, reform, the DAL from what it was, to what it truly can be 😉

So what's the point of this article?

It's a statement. Saying... We, the CPP, are still here to back and support you, DAL... even though you are going through dark and tough times right now, with everything that has happened... we are still here to help you in whatever way we can 😉 (..and of course, we certainly hope other parties consider contributing to this cause/revitalization/etc..)

The worst has passes, and all you can do now, is rebuild the DAL.. rebuild it well... learn from your mistakes and what people percieved as wrong... try different approaches.. and you'll be back on your feet in no time 😉

Your "tl;dr" is factually incorrect. But m'eh.

If CPP wants to send over it's multi horde to pro up the Scorpius Killed the DAL party, then who am I to argue?

MOO recognizes Janos as the elected leader of DAL.

Personally, I empathize with the power struggle going on between the Janos camp and the Scorpius camp, but that is politics.

When in-game power does not align with forum power, you no longer have a party. This is where DAL finds itself. Will DAL emerge on the other side or a new party? Time will tell. MOO does not take a position on which outcome is more desirable. Political momentum will determine the outcome.

Srsly. Parties are too numerous. There should be 4 parties: The MOO wing; The MDP wing; the CPP wing; and the EPIC/DAL/CPF/most other parties wing.
