Well have you tried any of that COLA recently???!?!?!?!?
So here we are, all prepping for congress elections, shenanigans over Canadian Dude, etc... and out of nowhere, OMG IRELAND IS INVADING US! OH NO! WE LOST NEWFOUNDLAND!
The entire Community was in an uproar....Dade has not yet released an official statement.
Well Dade, you had the opportunity to explain... you had the Opportunity to at the very least tell CONGRESS about these plans before they happened.

Poland really, really wants a high raw material region..got it?
They wanted to rent from us..wanted to give us 3000 gold per month for Manitoba (NOT a titanium region, and we wouldn't lose any high ressouces)
Dade refused to go through with it, despite having the authority and opportunity to do so. He demonstrated a lack of leadership by letting it pass....
Now, Poland attacks Scotland..OMG WHY?!?!
From Scotland, they can get to America. But attacking America means losing MPP's...so why not piggyback on a landbridge from Ireland?
Ireland attacked us, and would have made a path to the USA, through NFLD, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Maine but congress wasn't told of that, of course.
Our companies were supposed to be able to buy cheap licences from this but how could they, if you weren't told about the plan?
Poland would have followed Ireland to the USA.
Ireland+Poland live happily ever after in USA
USA gets 3000g per month rent
Canada gets 0.
They had "plans", things got ugly
We couldn't retreat NFLD to Ireland as the plan suggested....for some reason or another Dade did not press the button. Now, the UK will own a Canadian region. Will we take it back? yes. Will it be fun? yes. Did Dade do anything right in this situation? NO
So..Dade has failed the community. He passed up the opportunity for Canada to replace our V2 fund and more, passed up the opportunity to explain to congress what the plans was for our home regions, failed to take the opportunity to explain the situation to the citizens of eCanada. He did not display any sort of leadership whatsoever here....and he certainly hasn't appeared anywhere to make himself accountable.
So...this COLA isn't as great as advertised. Suprised? Not me.

I was hoping this offer could recuperate the 2,600 gold we lost.
I am going from memory but I think Steam7 statement is very close to the facts of the matter, with out going to look I believe there was no will to rent a region by congress until after V2 hit although I believe that discussion revolved around titanium, again I'm going by my often failing memory.
Congress does not press the buttons for war.. the President does that.

Just to verify I got this, in point form of "things Dade did wrong":
1. Passed on the 3000g/month deal for Manitoba
2. Allowing a route via Canada so the USA get the deal instead
3. Not telling people, congress or otherwise, so nobody could leverage the deal to get licenses
4. UK gets NFLD somehow? (I don't follow this one, explain plz)
If these are all the points from the article, then perhaps Dade could post addressing them? I just want straight answers.

3,000 gold means we could cover the 2,600 we lost, and the remaining 400 gold could cover the Q1 weapons we lost, and more.

Might I ask why the Congressional TRANSPARENCY Act has documented ways to put Open Door issues into Closed Door congress... but doesn't give any way to REMOVE a discussion from Closed Door congress and take it into the open? I think the definition of "transparency" was lost somewhere.
So what does it take to amend an act? Because that one needs work.

Giving away our regions is just wrong. The lack of communication about what was going on with Newfoundland is even more wrong. I tried all day yesterday to find out.
In our corrupt country there is little reason to sell/rent a territory because you know as sure as I wear a toque in winter that the next 1ronman is out there ready to steal it. I am heartily fed up.
There should be better communication about this. I wasn't happy this morning seeing Newfoundland in the hands of someone else.

If I recall correctly, lets follow the sequence of events:
1. 1ronman hacks into ecanada forums and steals passwords of Canadian Government organizations (as well as reads everyone's private IMs).
2. jbdivinus somehow gets the passwords to Canadian Health Services and other government organizations; changes them locking out benefits to many Canadians. How did he get those passwords? Not sure, but see item #1 above.
3. 1ronman announces run for Canadian presidency.
4. jbdivinus announces that he will run the most corrupt thief in Canadian history for Canadian presidency, using the CPF as his tool.
5. Several prominent Canadians are invited to jbdivinus' and 1ronman's secret planning channel in irc.
6. A major CAF weapons manufacturing company, the CAF supply budget, and the stockpile of CAF Q1 weapons is stolen from the Canadian government. Q1 weapons are placed on the Canadian market for unbelievably low prices hurting Canadian business and workers.
7. jbdivinus and 1ronman blame Dade Pendwyn for allowing the CAF supply org to be stolen.
8. 1ronman is caught steeling the passwords of Canadian government organizations including the CAF supply company by a brilliant investigation led by Dade Pendwyn and the CSIS.
9. jbdivinus and 1ronman continue to blame Dade for everything they can think of. Their obvious goal is to discredit Dade Pendwyn - the greatest Canadian President ever - in hopes that they can get a hold of the Canadian Presidency, along with its budget and gold. By their actions against Canadian government organizations, both jbdivnus & 1ronman, have been shown to be completely untrustworthy, and to have performed criminal actions against the Canadian Government and its people.
