[CP] Update! (Releasing Northern Ireland)

Citizens of the Republic,

I was very pleased from the feedback to my last article, and even more pleased to find enough volunteers to fill up the government! Crisis has been averted!

My cabinet is finally forme😛

Besides this, the Dublin Communes have been made. Sadly, they are quite inactive at the time being. I would strongly urge citizens to use the communes as a medium to voice your opinions and propose action!

THIS MEANS:
We will be RELEASING Northern Ireland to the British at a future date. The time is not now to rightfully regain what is ours, we simply cannot at the moment without the risk of being wiped.

Just to let you know, I've also discussed with the newly elected CP of France, who was pleased to see that we have gotten peace with the Orion alliance. Anthony Colby has recently published a new MoC article which I encourage everyone to read and vote! Other immediate priorities include setting up the subsidization of companies/market licenses in eIreland.

NAP with UK = Broken election promise "work towards a short term NAP with the UK in which we continue to hold Northern Ireland." Considering you gave them NI.

Commune = It will be quiet until you raise something for discussion.... like handing back what belongs to Ireland....

eIrish Gov agreed to the NAP = Who was in this gov? Only the other day you said most of your cabinet is inactive.

Previous CP paper = You stated that you would most likely accept the NAP no matter who complains.... so why discuss it with anyone?

Dictatorship = You state you want tkbe dictator, sounds like you already are. You dont discuss gov matters with a congress/commune, you break election promises, you agree to a NAP that effects all of the citizens after stating you dont care who complains.

I am new to your country, but I can still smell a rat when I see one. Whats next, changing the name of the main Irish fighting force to the RIC?

fight for NI, get NO help from anyone, get wiped by Lith and UK?
I'd rather not suffer that. We don't have the activity, money, or the tanks to fight off the Orion alliance alone

Admittedly I'm not 100% about what's going on but I do intend to get educated now that I've offered to do FA. I do know enough to say that Trito is correct to say that the decision to return NI was forced upon us by circumstances beyond our control. Without knowing how much info has been made public I will stop there.

Rusty, you know how this works. We were both screwed over in Australia. Say one thing, then the winds change and you're made to be the liar. It's the "go ahead and blame me" crap when citizens are upset because things don't go as expected. Not much else a leader can do if he/she does what's best for the country.

Could at least be honest about it.
Could even still use congress/commune to say 'as much as the deal sucks, this is what's going on'

Thing is, I seldom hold any gov powers. I just inherited the MoF, guess what I'm going to do with it.. nothing. I haven't made a national decision in 255 days. Everything finance has been Commune voted.

Loads of older folk only want to be gov advisers. Just to be able to chime in about an overlooked threat. People just keep me around to hear my opinion because I try to be helpful.
