Join the new world

Dear citizens,

It has been five months since I took over as CP of the Netherlands. I came out of political retirement due to the internal conflict that hurt our country. We were torn between standing by our former alliance Hydra and the path of neutrality which would mean freedom and a chance to rebuild what we had lost due to a long term whipe by Croatia.

We got to the point where I can for CP with the decision of leaving Hydra. Since both candidates at the time ran with the same course of action pmy predecessor made the decision to yank off the bandate and push the button to leave our Hydra. This meant that when I started as CP the path of neutrality started. We had lost a lot during the 8-14 months of harassment by the CODE alliance. It was time to rebuild. In the first two months my goals was to sketch a future we would all be happy with.

- More training wars
- More friends (countries)
- International position of neutrality
- More support for our ground figthers
- Regular D4 epics
- Overal growth of our country (damage, # players, economic prosperity etc.)





I'm happy to say that in the last five months I believe to have achieved thes goals. As some of you well know being country president can be tiring especially when you are in the position for several months. My time as CP of eNL has come to an end with the newly elected president Jordic69. As of tomorrow I will be your Commander of the Dutch Armed Forces first, government and party member second. Of course I will not fade away and become a ghost of the past. I will be in the shadows of telegram following everything that is happening involving our country.



I want to do some reflecting to the things that have changed in the last few months.

Our citizen count has slowly increased with the return of some players and the welcome of new friends. Due to the weekly D4 epics with Egypt we've seen many ground figthers rank up. A special mentions for Fosite, Blackwidow9 and Fmcv who have all become Legend XX of the Netherlands. I'd also like to thank the Egyptian government for their help creating these epics. There were times we had to change Epic partners in which moments we could count on Brazil, Israel, Indonesia, Philipines, Spain and Ireland. All our training war partners have been splendid! When I took over we were down to 2-4 training wars and look at us now. with 14 active battles every day everyone has the opportunity to win Battle- and Sky Hero medals.

I also want to thank Speed94 and Blackwidow9 my MoD team for these past 5 months. As you all know the government programs 'The Flying Dutchman' and 'The Green Berets' are the absolute foundation of our military progress. To keep track of everyone's progress and writing these articles every week is not only time consuming but requires dedication. Speed94 and BlackWidow9 ran the programs and we also created the Pre-epic reward program where D4 figthers who hit before the battle was epic received a generous reward. This program has been on hold (but will hopefully be back) due to the boosters we received from previous event making the cost of creating the epic battle significantly lower.

We also made decisions when it came to internatioal forreign affairs. In the first two months I had two MoFA's Arcanic Legend and AragorN BT. With one being Pro Asteria and one being Pro Code I needed them both to represent the Netherlands in order to maintain our position as neutral.

As you well know leaving friends means that people will be upset. Arcanic Legend was tasked to keep our connection and bond alive while remaining neutral. AragorN BT was tasked to safeguard us from another CODE attack and eventually introduced me to some of the key players of CODE. We were supposd to have a meeting with everyone in the channel but sadly this never happened. I also want to thank them for their hard work these past few months.

Once the first 3 months had passed we managed to start some more training wars I had the feeling that eNL was going to be fine. However there still was the issue of becoming stronger and more independent as a country. In the past month we managed to become a home to no less than 5 Legend XX's. Compared to the global number of Legend XX's this is still insignificant but it means a bit more security for us when it comes to preventing long term wipes. Not only do we now have 5 Legend XX's but we have a large group of D4 players who finally decided to actually try and rank up! I'm very very pleased to see we are getting stronger every week. Everyone who has been reading the Green Beret articles will have noticed the speed of our citizens climbing the legend ranks lately. PLEASE KEEP GOING! I hope that all my successors will continue to stimulate the rank ups as well as the creation of Epics. I'm sure Jordic69 who has been doing the heavy lifting in the early stages of creating D4 epics will certainly do just that.



On a last note, I want to thank all members of congress these past few months for working with me and not against me. I also want to thank everyone for supporting my presidency these past few monthas, thank you for your vote of confidence.
