[CP] Poland

What You Can Do About Poland

I must open a UK battle in the next two hours. Please do me a favor and ignore it. There’ll be plenty of Canadian fights for you shortly.

In a few short hours the possibility of attack by Poland on Canada will become a certainty, and we can expect an extremely tough series of battles to come. Much has been made about our lack of strategic options as late, but the time to talk about blame is behind us. It no longer matters what has happened because it will require all of us together to make anything good happen in the near future.

I have ordered, and tomorrow MUs will receive, a significantly generous boost of funding. Due to some tax changes that seem to be passing, this might be the second last boost the government can give out. At this point the government will be focused on rallying allied support for our cause, primarily in RW situations, to free our country. It is our hope that Poland has bitten off more than it can safely chew.

I will say right now for Poland’s benefit and yours that this administration will not be negotiating any NAPs with Poland that require us to give up any Canadian territories. We will not betray the prosperity of future Canadians for convenience today. If you do not agree with this, I suggest voting for a different administration in two weeks.

But what can you do about Poland? If we are losing a battle by more than 10% in your division, as we most certainly will many times in the next week, I do not want you to use energy bars. We will need you to tank in the RWs to come. I want you to take advantage of the lower prices that the tax changes about to be passed will temporarily bring and buy good quality weapons, even if you may not immediately use them.

I want you to recognize that what lies before us is a slog, with an uncertain future. It took almost 4 months to fully liberate Canada the first time it was wiped, and considering the power structures of the world and Canada’s relatively unimportant place in it, it must be said that early victories should be savored for what they are. Defeats recognized too, as merely part of a cycle of ups and downs that all countries in this game go through.

And I want you to know that we won’t give up. We’ll fight, and fight, and fight, with no bonuses or foreign weapons, freedom fighters and mercenaries, until every single Canadian region is freed. We cannot run, we cannot hide, but we cannot surrender. The sun might look like its setting on Canada, but it will surely rise again another day.

I will have more information as it becomes available.
