[CP] Is there any point of voting for Betafoxtrot ?

You will notice that the conclusion of this article will show I am not partisan, and I will vote for the best candidate.

The SDP finally decided to run a candidate. Is this very responsable ? The SDP candidate published no manifesto, no programme, and does not stand for anything besides himself, trying to graple a few votes on his name.
I would say this is irresponsable, for one or two simple reasons. This term is like no other term. V2 is coming, we need an experienced person to be in charge of the country. Iain Keers is really competent, has been in government for ages, and knows what state the country is in and will probably negociate the change in the best possible manner.
Iain Keers might not be the most popular man, but I honestly think he is the man to run the country in the following month. He gets the job done and has a sober style.

Is Betafoxtrot really an SDP candidate ? Well, the decision can be questionnable. He is a notorious UKRP member, working closley with Darkmantle, ex UKRP Party President. He did try to sabotage the SDP himself two months ago. He has made NO significant contribution to the party, and only recently came back into the party.

I see no particular reason for an SDP member to vote for him, let alone people outside of the SDP. He never participated in any mentoring programmes, or even inquired to take part in the SDP Social Programmes.

The SDP candidacy just shows the poor organization and amateurish approach of those who are in charge of the party at the moment. I think Rory's Winterbourne preference would have gone with Digby, and all the Social Democrats of the party have been let down by this decision to field centrists and centre-right candidates. Also favouring newcomers over people who have worked hard for the party is also demoralizing all those that have put in an effort over the past few months building the party up. Membership is down again today, down to 173.

If you want a man to assure the softest and most profitable transition to V2, a person who values the livse of new citizens, cast a vote for Iain Keers.

If you want someone who really embraces change, vote for Sir Digby. The SDP initially went into an alliance with PCP for this election, and seemed to have changed their mind at the last minute for a candidate that stands for nothing.

If you are looking for an experienced miltary leader, which can turn out to be the only quality of Betafoxtrot, Glados, the UKRP candidate, is far more versed in military affairs, and has lead the country into battle on many occasions in the past. However everything will change with V2, and nothing garantees that the skills some have built up will even be worth anything.

There are only three possible votes that will take this country foward, Glados, Keers and Digby. I would recommend Iain Keers for all the reasons I quoted above. There will be plenty of time after the transition to renew the natural alliance between Social Democrats and the People's Communist Party.

Don't forget to cast your vote and vote usefull. Please inform yourselves on the manifestos of each candidate and choose who you seem to think is the best placed to lead the eUK into V2.
