[CP] Cabinet Application

Hey ladies and gentlemen !

Today you will see more than one of my articles, but this one will not be a manifesto. As president, if elected, I will not be able to handle everything on my own. As this, I need a team of close collaborators in order to fulfill the job and make this month the best eBelgium has ever known.

Only a few jobs are described down here, those will be the more global ministries. I will appoint those based on the candidatures I will have received, the appointed persons will be responsible to find themselves, people to help them in their task. More information about how to apply and the restructions at the end of the article.

So let’s get started :

http://www.stella-aviation-academy.nl/img/bullet_arrow_white_orange_right.png"> Minister of Foreign Affairs : This minister will be in charge of the foreign affairs of the country. He must have a fluent conversation in English and be active enough to supervise several forums if necessary. He is responsible for our relations towards to great alliances in cooperation with the CP and fully responsible for the embassy network. He will represent our country outside our boarders !

http://www.stella-aviation-academy.nl/img/bullet_arrow_white_orange_right.png"> Minister of Defense : This person will be in charge to set up our military commandment, form and attrack troops, give out orders, manage eventual companies. His job will be to raise our global strength in order to defend ourselves if necessary.

http://www.stella-aviation-academy.nl/img/bullet_arrow_white_orange_right.png"> Minister of Finance : This person will be in charge of the NBB-BNB and the global accounting of the state. He will supervise the budgets of all ministries, this means : revenues, spending, extra donations, etc… He will regularly (once every 2 weeks minimum) publish a summary of all current assets hold by the state. He will also be in charge of setting a good tax policy in order to cover the needs we have as country and not tax our people too much.

http://www.stella-aviation-academy.nl/img/bullet_arrow_white_orange_right.png"> Minister of Economics : He is in charge, along with me, to find investment opportunities in Belgium. He will be someone all business owners will be able to speak to if they need some help with their business, especially mentoring. He will (probably) also be in charge, along with me and the MoSC, to run the investment company of eBelgium.

http://www.stella-aviation-academy.nl/img/bullet_arrow_white_orange_right.png"> Minister of Home Affairs : This person will be in charge of the recruitment of new players, their information and education, the communication of official statements, handing out gifts, ensure the fun on the IRC/forum… He will also be in charge of updating the wiki and make sure that all statements published there are politically neutral.

He will stand in when I am absent, gather information close to all ministers, supervise who has access where. He will collaborate with the “Speaker of the Parlement” (or whatever name we will give him) in order to keep order and a good collaboration between government/congress.

EDIT : if you wish to apply for several ministries, go on ! You will only get one at the end though.

As you can see, less ministries, but not less jobs to fill. If you are interested in a ministerial position, please PM me with a short overview why you want the job and what makes you qualified. As CP I will try to stand above political parties, and by this, I will not care in which political party you are.

Every single person is allowed to apply, if you are scared that you may not be qualified enough : APPLY ! You can be from every IG level, RL nationality or IG nationality (time that you live in Belgium). All refused candidatures will be transferred to the new minister, this way you will probably qualify for a job as UnderMinister and learn the job so that next month you will probably qualify.

You have until the 6th of May to apply for a position so that we can start as quickly as possible to work. Every single candidacy will be taken into account.

Not at all, as a CP you are above the parties. If FB has good candidates they wil be taken. I do not care if they are Belgian or not, only that the best for my country is done. The only requirement is that you live in eBelgium or move here.

But, this does not mean I will take someone from every party. I will write an article why I put everyone where so that all of you understand. But you will be taken into account, be sure of that.

I see 6 Ministries, just as we have now (the seventh is actually Ministry of Fun, which was never filled), but the distribution of responsabilities sure is different in many cases - I wish we could discuss this once and for all so that the governement structure doesn't look different every time we get a new PM/CP. But I do like what I see 😉

Having not so much time for great responsabilities, I won't apply for a Minister's position, but I would like to help out the new MoHA, whoever he will be.

@Aldous : indeed, you may be right, but then you need to reformulate my poposal. Only these 6 minister will be advertised ouside our boarders, not like now when it is pretty confusing (even I made the mistake).

And the government structure is a choice of the new CP/PM, not something of Congress.

As discussed with you on the channel I am able and willing to help out the future Cabinet. Unfortunately I can do this only as a manager of organization in eBelgium.

This is why I would like for the next Minister of Home Affairs to consider my application for his/her cabinet.

I know that it's the CP's/PM's "right" to choose the governement structure at the moment, but in my eyes it would provide more stablity (and perhaps more efficiency as well) if its general skeleton would be fixed once and for all. The CP/PM would still get to choose the people for the positions, of course.

@Aldous - I have to agree wtih Apotygma on this one. Stability is great but allowing the CP's/PM's to choose thier government structure allows for more innovation. Its what makes PM elections interesting!

I like the idea of less ministers and fill positions with the best people based on quality and not on party affiliation 🙂
