[CP] An Attack on the People and Supply Changes

Greetings eIreland,

I come to you today to give you a range of news. I will split this into two articles as I have a ton of things to address, but this is likely the most significant for right this second. My second article will be a rundown of the last week including the survey results and some breaking news later today.

Last night an individual seems to have decided to destroy our supplies form and abuse the priveleges greanted to him in the past. This action was done out of hate for another eIrish citizen, but after some work we have corrected it. This destruction of the supply document is nothing less than an attack on the Irish people. We are conducting an investigation and will be pursuing an appropriate response once it is completed. Regardless, it saddens me that someone could care so little for Ireland that they destroy something that so many of us use daily.

Now, we will be changing a few things in response to this tragic event. Firstly, we have a new supply form that we will be honing to meet the needs of the community as we go. This form does include some additional tools for our suppliers so that we can better know who has what supplies and when we receive disbursements. This will help us to track supply trends and be better prepared in advance.

Second, due to some recent confusion by newer members as well as communication, we will be moving the supplies to #eire.military. #IrishArmy will continue to serve as the primary channel for the MU, but especially as supplies are crossMU we have decided to go with a dedicated Supplies Channel.



We are currently looking into effective ways to provide supplies in ways that are not through IRC, and I'll update you on those when the time comes, 🙂.
