Join the new world

Citizens, soldiers,

as most of you know, just recently I have been honoured by being offered the position of Chief of Staff of the Irish Defence Forces, which I happily accepted. I thought it wise and appropriate to communicate with the whole lot of you at the same time, since this, well, it would just save all of us a lot more time, which in turn leads to more effectivity, doesn't it? And after all, we all want that.

Some of you in the current IDF may still remember me as the former Na Fianna CO and the cause of the Irish Q5 weapons company. Those of you who don't, well, feel free to come by in my office for a chat, a query or anything that you might deem relevant to our common cause.

While we're at it... there are various means for you to get in touch with me. I encourage you to do so and don't hesitate, not even for the slightest. If it is within my power, I shall assist you.




Means of communicating:

- Personal Ingame Message
Not a bad way of communicating, but might take a while sometimes to get a response. So, not recommended if you have another option available.

- IRC
When I'm on eRepublik, I always am on IRC. When I'm not on eRepublik, there's a high chance that I'm still on the IRC. Come visit me and the rest in #Ireland and query me for a private chat. Very fast and effective way of communicating. Simply highlight Nith and I'll be with you very soon.

- Ingame Chat
If I'm signed into the game, I'm signed into the DoD Chat room. For those of you who don't know where this is at, search the Irish Department of Defence and join it's Chat room! This also is an effective way of communicating, but is more effective for distributing resources. This program doesn't allow highlights, so for a fast response, IRC is still better, though this means doesn't require an additional download.

- Forum
Like the Personal Ingame Message, this option allows you to post a question for me while you yourself won't be online. I will see this message, but again, this is not a fast option when compared to previous ones. However, don't underestimate the forum, it's quick and easy to drop a message and be on your way. Make sure to check it regularly.

- Gmail
Have a very delicate matter that you need to inform me about but can't reach me on any other medium or feel that it's that substantial that I need some time to read and think it over? Drop me a mail, I can be found at nithraldur@gmail.com. Or even, if you're lucky, you might get a Chat in with me even there!

As you can see, reaching me shouldn't be a problem. Use the means available, stay in touch with us!




Daily business

First order of business is to review the assignments to the divisions and start working on distributing the new applicants. Information on the works of the IDF is still being provided to me, but I'm pretty sure I get the real important parts already. Organisation access has just recently been provided to me, so when it's necessary, I can start assisting my colleagues. Other then that, I've been in touch with our Health Responsible and will check up on our soldiers health whenever I get the chance. I've also had a chat with some ambassadors that I feel that are in regions we need to keep a close eye on for possible conflicts. Information and communication often are the foundations of success, I suggest we follow the path 🙂
