[BEF] And now, the end is near......

Dear BEFers et al,
In time long past there was a national military so encompassing that players could freely be supplied daily and regularly, no matter their level, strength (when strength was it was glorious. I am truly confident that there has been no greater eUK institution than our Naby, but like all good things, it came to an end.
However this was not the end of a unified military, for despite the debacle that was v2, the UKAF emerged from the late summer of 2010 as a powerful supplying unit, delivering damage in the right place at the right time while providing opportunities for growth among members. It was at this time that I was able to join the elite arm of the UKAF, the United Kingdom Special Forces (who would later be known as the “EF”) - We were lead by a team who supplied day in, day out, and in turn were supported by each successive government. And for a long time, it worked. However as the eUK income dried up amid long occupation, the country had to accept it could not support a public army along the lines of post-v2 era levels. We stopped. We started. We slimmed. And so we were left with the BEF.

I was never truly happy with the Name, Branding or Comradery of the BEF matched up against other units, but it was well supplied, and Greatmoff and CD have done a great job in running it. However for me, it’s now run it’s course. The supplies on offer are rarely useful to me and infrequent to MY patten of logging in. I know many others feel the same and are leaving the unit. Tis a greatly sad day for me - but exciting also, as I shall be joining my friends in the The Unity Party as a member of the new elite 12th Regiment!
Led by Euro-Military Genius Sir Marvin (Captain) and Boercharel (Quartermaster General). In principle Marvin will be responsible for leadership of the unit on the battlefield and Boer Charel will be responsible for the leadership, organisation and recruitment into the regiment off the battlefield. Both are experienced and just what a great MU needs!
If you are interested in signing up, please consider the following requirements/rules for entry:
Players must be in TUP (no exceptions)
Players must be IRC active (definitely no exceptions, and by this, considerably more than 5 hours a week - and readily available for movement & fights.)
Players must NOT fight against the UK or any country we have MPP with unless expressly ordered to by the President themselves.
So.....without bawww - this is a great time to join TUP then

No Merc Medal for TUPites?
As it stands Wayne TUP members can still get the Merc Medal. The rules laid out by Jimbo only cover the 12th regiment, however if you take a close look at the amount of allies the eUK currently has (12-13) you can see that by tactical choosing of battles it will still be possible to get a Merc Medal.
You can get a merc medal without fighting for the wrong side - fight for our 12 allies, the UK, both sides in region swaps between our non-allies, against our allies when they need to lose regions, etc

UK CP is elected ingame. UK congress is elected ingame. There is the power.
Government is not TUP. There will be a replacement for BEF. These are facts.
When you do not agree, please make improvements yourself instead of anti propaganda.

If any members of the BEF want to join the Bulldogs you are more than welcome you can be in any party, fight when you want and we will give you a load of weapons to fight with , you don't have to jump though hoops with us !
don dapper, that's why I'm in Bulldogs, mate. I know where the fight is. I'd rather be with RAF and nice Dr. Hugh, but BD must be #1 for the shame of some.
Stop being so paranoid about the TUP. If we were trying to move BEF members into our TUP unit we'd have introduced the TUP thing at the same time Magic Hereos reduced the BEF, which was over a month ago.
Anyway, the TUP unit is going to be one of those things where you have to be uber-active, which is the reason that people are leaving the BEF. If anything the TUP-president led changes have helped NE, UKPP and ESO by making your MUs the best sources of weapons this past month.
The national army still has potential (given it has gov. owned companies) and as the last signifigant and actual unifiying structure the UK has in place I doubt the The UNITY party will mess with that.
Disbanding the Army and the national companies it has would pretty much be one step removed from just taking cash directly from the nation.
TUP is not that corrupt, that evil or that stupid.

There is only 1 navy in the eUK and that's the Royal Navy...so why not join us
To be honest when it comes to damage for the UK I dont see why Keers has a problem unless its a petty personal issue in which case is he fit for Governement if personal issues rule him? We should be glad that our MU are fighting our corner whether that be the TUP family, Bulldogs, Navy, RAF, Legion or a bloke with an iron pipe on the white cliffs of Dover having drank too much Carling Black Label.
