[Beam Powered] Sight Seeing and A New Philosophy

It was going to be a two week sight-seeing report that is now three weeks into the campaign, to make a few changes.

It started with a quest to expend 50,000 energy within a weeks allotted time, with houses purchased I clicked to no avail. I did get to observe the economy in action.

Housing across the board stayed stable, took two weeks for Q5 to rebound to 10,000cc

Food is stable and even across the board, if not slightly rising.

Q1 weapons very stable above .10cc (for the most part)

I confess that I have not paid any attention to the economy since becoming a Tycoon Pack player. The only time I run production is during Tycoon weeks. If Plato will reformat the Work Ticket system, it would be more worth it to play the pollution game (Rolling Production). But the labor involved in selecting and deselecting all those work tickets is a non-starter for me.

As far as Battle Hero medals, the smart money is still in Aircraft. In my opinion, anyone who has below 80K strength ought to have completely abandoned Ground and focused on ranking up in Aircraft. It's much easier to get 2 SH's per day than it is to get 6 BH's per day.


My rebuttal to BH hunting, I am out of that league entirely, my only game is to acquire enough finances for future upgrades that might make my attempts at influencing a battle relevant. So I try and Resistance War medal hunt with my Mercenary mission goal, the first half of the Mercenary is easy enough, but after that threshold it seems to be the same ole whippings going on. I would like to see a 50 give and take exchange created to completing the Mercenary and Resistance missions together, to fund the underfunded members of our community.

Ranking up hasn't been considered by those already at the heights, I have to gaze up to and depend on setting a good ghost booster number for me to exploit.

For 25 kill missions, it is flight battles (best to have 1000 energy available)

for 50 kill missions, one ghost booster (less than 500 energy needed)

for 75 kill missions two ghost boosters

Beam powered, admittedly I could not have gone on my spree without the generous contributions picked up on beam. If a player concentrates on saving up ghost busters for two months and stockpiles food and weapons (or better win them through beam) they should be able to successfully start getting 880cc often.

One negative strain of play, that has receded this week, was the late arrivals of BH hunters, leaving a ghost booster use at very poor levels of points rank upped.
