[Banach]~~The Future of Canadian Politics~~

Day 1,167, 19:16 Published in Canada Canada by Banach
I'll make this announcement short and sweet. (It was longer but eRepublik timed out and lost all my work.)

I've been prompted to run for leadership of the ailing Canadian Progressive Front.

I bring experience, dedication and ambition along with me for the ride.

If elected on the 15th, I'll work diligently to make this party the envy of the political landscape...just like the old Norsefire and the old Canadian Progressive Front before their eventual decline.

I would rename the party to

National Progress Coalition

National - It would be a party to serve the best interest of a strong, unified, orderly, stable Canadian state. It would serve the French and English-speaking communities that make up the country with equal opportunity.

Progress - The key goal in any platform from the party would be to simplify the government, strengthen the military, eliminate wasteful bureaucracy, expenditures, portfolios and impractical nuances as well as make Canada an attractive state for foreign investment, immigration and diplomacy.

Coalition - I would hope to make this party as accessible to people of different backgrounds, experiences, and aspirations in order to truly make a pragmatic organization. I would hope to avoid the Weimar-esque political situation we are presently faced with and make this new party a rallying ground for many different views and pull into it various current parties. I strongly believe that a 2-4 party state is optimal for Canada's growth right now

Anyways, that's my pitch.

Take it or leave it,

Either way, see you at the Canadian Progressive Front and on February 15th.

Cheers,

Banach
