Intro

My main goal in seeking leadership of the CPF is to be a part of something fantastic again. The CPF has a legacy of dominance in eCanadian politics...pioneering almost EVERYTHING most people see as popular. Mobile voting teams that gave us Congress dominance? Check. Corporations that made us ridiculous money for ad campaigns? Check. A private military? Check. An extensive two-way ambassador program among ALL parties? Check.

The CPF of old (when I was Prime Minister) and of new (When Tyler F Durden reigned supreme) have significantly left their mark on the fabric of Canadian polity and history.

Now, it’s time for progress.
This time we’re coming back bigger and more ambitious.
I bring limitless experience, unfettered ambition and a drive to win. Win whatever there may be to win and to improve every possible thing there is to improve.

With that, my quick and general platform:

Forum

The forum is the core of party organization.
Our current one is, quite frankly, disastrous.
I’ll be making/looking for/organizing/paying people to/ a new one with a darker background (much more visually appealing), new logos, banners and all that official jazz.
The admin will be in charge of updating it to make it streamlined, efficient and up-to-date on literally a bi-daily basis. Expect stickies for rosters, elections, procedures, and anything and everything that a party needs to function well.

The leadership structure will be purged. It will simply be, for the first month, Party Leader, Party Members, Ambassadors, and Friends of the Party. Simple, efficient, there to help us focus on building rather than bloating.

Elections

Our elections will be focused so that we may gain maximum representation. We’ll attract higher profile actors. We’ll run in smaller ridings and mobile vote to capture them. Yes, that’s what’s going to happen. Once we have recognition and report, we may begin to expand on a national scale. Congress elections, our goal is 20% representation by March 25th.Its ambitious. It’s doable. For Premiership, I’d propose we do NOT run our own candidate for the next three months. Support whichever party will cater to us and put our members into Cabinet. Yes, that’s what gonna happen.

Name and Image

The party name of CPF (Canadian Progressive Front) will give way to the next step in maturity: NPC (National Progress Coalition).
It represents a more moderate tone in politics. No more aggressive, unpredictable plays. No more arrogance. We’re here for everyone.

Officially, in eRepublik, my stance at the moment is for minimizing the government, strengthening the CAF, war, providing immigration incentives to foreign players and maintaining of new ones. Canada needs to go back to basics. Make war, produce a mass of goods, and raise its population. Supplementary projects have no place in the current playability of the game and quite, frankly, don’t fucking work. If someone wants to steal, they will. Supreme Courts and articles won’t stop that. Instead, close down the circle of trust, make the flow of money limited and carefully watched. There is no need for hundreds of angsty teens who have trouble socializing in real life to have access to in game accounts.

Membership

I propose a doubling of the membership of the party within two months. How? Lead by example. Act professional. Reach out. Do not participate in political infighting like previous CPFers (me included!) have done in the past. A new image and serious attitude with a laid back atmoshphere coalesce to attract high profile players and interested new ones. Both are very welcome!

Praetors
Scrap them. Profit.

Companies
Scrap them. Profit.

Ambassadors
Like was done in the old CPF:
a) Have one party member represent us in a TOP 5 Party.
b) Have members from TOP 5 Parties to have one member in our forum.
c) Have the Party Leader to act as an ambassador to all parties outside the Top 5.

That is all for now.
For the record, this has been posted in only two areas: The CPF forums and my newspaper.
Cheers,

Banach
