[AUS GOV] - Department of Defence Review Commission

Day 1,874, 23:51 Published in Australia Australia by infin

Greetings eAustralia,

I have been appointed by the Prime Minister Xavier Griffith as Commissioner to review the Department of Defence. This review has been charged with considering the following issues:

The following should be discussed and looked at from cost effectiveness, ability to maintain supply, allow new players to level, anything and everything in regard to making our War and Defence system better, faster and deadlier, even though we are a small nation.

1. The structure of the ADF
2. The Nation’s MUs and their incorporation into Government funding
3. The supply of extremely limited resources to both New people that join the ADF
4. The supply of extremely limited cash resources to our MUs should they wish to become Government Funded.
5. The ability of the DoD to work with both fields, a fully Government supported ADF and partially funded MUs.
6. The cost effectiveness of running both types of funding options.
7. whether there is double dipping, why and the cost effectiveness and ability of our nation to support this.

The review process and proposal is to be fully investigated, discussed and the best options worked out. If the decision is to leave it as it currently operates or be changed, a new Act will need to be drawn up and presented to the senate to replace the current Act.

All MU leaders are welcome to be involved in this review, in particular the way it will affect their funding from the government. If you are an MU leader who is willing to be involved in the review process please list you interest with eAustralia forum admins or myself by lodging a ticket or PM.
