[AUS] Come What May

Day 823, 14:02 Published in Australia Ireland by James Ferrin

Gentlemen and Ladies of the eVerse I bid you hello! It seems like just a few days ago I was writing to congratulate Ireland and her allies in securing Northern Ireland to its rightful state. Of course all wonderful things eventually come under attack because of how precious they are.

My friends I am sad to say but there brews a battle in the works. The UK is storming a storm the likes of which we Irishmen have not seen at our shores for some time. Though our will is strong sometimes the strongest wills must be backed by even stronger arms. It is this night that I implore the world for citizens who might be sympathetic to Ireland's cause. We wish to remain a Nation. We have become "A Nation Once Again" but sadly the UK would claim Northern Ireland as it's own colony.

I know some of you fairly well now and I can say with a full heart that those of you overseas have been wondrous friends and allies of mine and my associates and fellow countrymen. Ireland has had opportunities to make friends in the past and officially has done a poor job. Yet, I feel as though our people still yearn for fellowship with those that would see us whole.

To ye who have been there for us and those who have not, I ask your assistance now. Help Ireland remain whole and you will have the country as a strong friend. Everyone knows I've advocated for stronger ties with the US, Canada, and Croatia. In the future I hope to extend those ties to even more nations who support our sovereignty.

This attack comes at a bad time for all of this. With the Peace Treaty between EDEN and the UK still pending it is as prime and lowly an opportunity as ever for the UK to storm our shores and try and take back our upper six counties but we will do everything possible to fight them off. I know that with your help we can keep them from tearing it asunder. We can hold our Nation as one.

Please stand with us and fight for freedom across this wonderful world of ours. May this be the beacon to the rest of our civilization. Stand strong my friends. For Ireland.

"Low lie the fields of Athenry
Where once we watched the small free birds fly
Our love was on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
It's so lonely round the fields of Athenry."
