Ladies and Gentlemen after long thought I have decided to run for PP of the ARP

Why you ask? For 1 simple reason.

I want to grow party community. Since the forums have become a place of toxicity and don’t contribute to the growth of the community, a national community has become unfortunately more difficult.


no not the TV show...

How can this be fixed? Its actually quite simple, move away from the idea of a single national community until the forums are fixed or moved to a place where certain individuals don't abuse power (by them not having said powers).

How do I plan on doing that?

-A campaign of irc activity, at the present the ARP chat room on rizon is the most active (#therevolution) however it could be so much more with PP encouragement.

-Competitions for members with prizes being given. I reject the idea of paying members for being in a party as it’s like buying friends however encouraging activity is a different story, creating a community isn’t a self gain like those who buy memberships in a party.

What I hope to create is a surge of activity. Not only does that help the ARP itself by securing its dominance among the parties but also helps the country by creating a more active player base.

Oh btw I also am heavily in favour of having newbies run for congress, some players who shall remain nameless have over 30 congress medals, most of those medals earned in a 10 seat congress due to our military circumstances over time, thats essentially killing a community.

An argument against this is say people like buzz who are new (to the country in this case) running and getting in then proceeding to do annoying bad proposals that could hurt the nation. How do we find a balance between encouraging newer players and having security from potential damage?
