[Appleby] London Manifesto and a free cat

Day 1,160, 08:37 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Sir Humphrey Appleby
Good afternoon good people of London!

It is in fact a rabbit, the cat video kept breaking 🙁.

Today, you are graced with another Congressional article, explaining how our region will be defended by the Gods; and that Lady Luck will smile very favourably on our economic situation. Unfortunately, very little is true in these articles, and I’d like to keep in that way for fear of not having something to talk about.

Oh yes! You also need my experience apparently. I’m a 6 times Congressman, 3 times Minister, retired Major-General and the bloke that runs the NNA. As I’m sure you’ll agree; these are very formidable traits and a good excuse not to wonder off the electoral page and vote for the other guy. You also get a free cat!

Now, what do I propose to do whilst in Congress? Well earlier this month when I ran for the Presidency, one of my ideas for Parliament was the idea of a Speaker. As this has now been legislated and agreed upon to come into fruition a couple of days after the election, it shall be my objective to focus on Congress’s ability to dictate its own state of affairs and reform ourselves into a more competent and constructive legislative chamber.

Also, there weren’t nearly as many House of Lords proposals than expected this term. I aim to introduce legislation to ensure at least two House of Lords proposals per legislative term.

That is all.

Yours,

Sir Humphrey Appleby MP.
