Hello AMPlifiers,

The time has come. Election season is here, and our party must now choose its next leader. For the past year and a half, I have served my role in choosing the best person for the job and supporting our party leadership. Five times I have served as our Communication Director, once as the party Retention Director, and four times as an AMP Congressman. Today however, I would like to announce my intent to run for the position of the AMP Party President and I am asking for your support.



In the past year, our party has faced difficult times, but every challenge has made us stronger. Our current leader Malarkey83 has done an amazing job at stabilizing our party and pushing it in the right direction. It is my plan to build on his work and continue to lead our party on the path of success.

One of the top priorities for my term will be to further expand our recruitment and retention programs. Last month saw the return of the AMP Battle Buddy Program, a recruitment program which rewards members for recruiting players into our party. It is my plan to expand on the existing program and up its pimp game about 200%. Exact details of my updates will come soon, but all party members should like what they’ll see, and hopefully we will see a nice boost in membership numbers. Ongoing recruitment efforts and communication with new members will continue and I plan on working closely with my Recruitment Director to refine and develop new strategies for bringing in new players to our party.

Just yesterday the AMP welcomed one of its newest members SColbert and with him, the return of the AMP’s media presence. Recently appointed to the Media Director position, SColbert will continue in his position, pumping out quality media articles for the AMP during my term. I know I’m excited to see what I he can do.

Finally, one of my major goals for this term is to really work on boosting activity in our IRC channel #amp. Lately, our channel has been very quiet, with only occasional conversation sparking up. Throughout the day, there is at least one party leader idling in the channel. It is my plan to encourage our party leadership to lead by example in welcoming anyone who joins the channel. A mere “hello” is all it takes to get people talking and is an easy starting point for boosting activity. On this point, I would like to give a quick shout out to Tristan C for always saying hi when he joins the channel!
