[AMP] June Congressional Elections

Day 2,411, 13:06 Published in USA USA by OfficerFriendly

As I’m sure you know, the June 2014 congressional elections were held a couple of days ago. While this may seem like any other day to some, this was quite a momentous occasion for us here at AMP. Not only did we get 11 of our 13 official congressional candidates elected to office, but we also set a party record for highest voter turnout and also saw quite an improvement in our overall standing as a political presence. Let me show you some graphs:

This is a breakdown of the percentage of total votes that went to each party in the last two congressional elections. In one month, we saw an increase of over 5% of the votes coming to AMP! We went from 128 people voting for AMP in May to 172 in June. Given that we’re one of the two smallest parties in the Top 5, having almost a fifth of the votes is quite an accomplishment, in and of itself.

Here’s a graph that shows the number of party members per congressman for each party this upcoming month. AMP has the lowest number of members/congressman of all of the Top 5. This means that each and every single AMPer is better represented in congress than any other party’s members. You have the loudest voices this month, AMP! Let them be heard! Contact your congressmen, and let us know what you want to be done this next month. We’re here to serve you.

As I said earlier, AMP set a party record for highest voter turnout this month, with 88.21% of our party membership voting for AMP. This is also larger than any other party, and yet another reason we’re the best. 🙂

Last, but not least, I’d like to give a shoutout to our 11 congressmen for this next month, just so you can see the awesome lineup of people trying to make this country a better place. Feel free to contact them and let them know what you want out of congress this next month.

John Largo - 29th time in Congress
Evry - 17th time in Congress
David Wilson - 10th time in Congress
Dave Gulya - 3rd time in Congress
Mr. Swagg - 11th time in Congress
OfficerFriendly (that’s me!) - 1st time in Congress
greeling - 9th time in Congress
Code-Y - 17th time in Congress
John Killah - 11th time in Congress
Nfin - 1st time in Congress
Israel Stevens - 10th time in Congress

Looking at that list, you see a lot of experience, as well as a handful of newbs (like myself.) We at AMP know that new people need to start out somewhere, and we give them every opportunity we can to succeed and grow in their military and political aspirations.

As you can see from all of that stuff up above, AMP is having a great time right now. If you want to get in on some of this sweet action, come join us! We’d love to have you. We’ve got great congressional presence, extremely active forums, and a diverse community of free-thinking individuals who want to help you become a better player. It’s clear that a lot of people out there can Feel the AMPs! Can you?

Thanks for reading! And remember, if you liked it, then you should have put a vote on it!
