[AMP] Free Food for All, Department Updates, and Congressional Elections

Hello AMPlifiers,

I would first like to thank each and every one of you who gave me your vote and support in the previous election. I greatly appreciate your help and want to continue carrying our party to greatness. This term is going to have few big changes in the Recruitment, Retention, and Education department; which I am going to discuss in the length of this article. But first how about some Emma Watson?

AMP Food for All

Now back on topic. I would like to announce that the AMP is now expanding its Food and Tank Program for all citizens of the eUnited States. eUS citizens are now able to request 300 energy in food per day through the program, while AMP party members get the added benefit of receiving 600 energy and 3q7 weapons per day. All you have to do is fill out this form each day and your supplies will be on the way!




Recruitment Department Reforms

This term we are also working on kicking our recruitment department into overdrive. Despite our best efforts over the past month our membership is down about 15 members, most of those coming in the last week and a half. This term however, we are going to AMP up our Recruitment department by having more members of our leadership team making contact with new players and helping them along through their eLife. Establishing relationships, following up with them, and engaging them in party activities early on, will hopefully make a difference and give us the boost to membership that we've been working for.




AMP Education Update

Recently, Malarkey83 has been working on updating the Educational Department, and with it the development of a new education program for AMP party members. The program is still early in it's developmental phase, but the scope of the program is to work with new players teaching them in detail about game mechanics, how to "survive" in eRepublik, and party policies. Most importantly though, players are going to be taught about the meta-game and how to work within it. The program will also be taking over the Intern program, so players who sign up will be given party responsibilities early on so they can transition into party leadership positions much more easily.





Congressional Sign-Ups Now Open

The time is near for the AMP party members to select their next batch of Congressman. First however, we need people to sign up to run. If you are an AMP party member and are interested in participating in Congress this month please fill out this application and post your platform in this thread. If you have not taken the Congressional Quiz in the past three months you must do so this time to be considered for Congress. The Platform thread will stay open until February 21st so make sure you sign up soon!


On a closing note our Communication Director greeling, is working on creating an AMP Echo/Shout team. If you are interested in helping out our party by simply commenting and shouting posts/articles please contact greeling. It is a pretty simple task but every comment/shout would be a great help!
