Greetings, Salutations, Welcome and Good Evening my fellow countrymen, women, and Cpt Chazbeards.

Today I bring you some news that may shock and astound, and outright disgust you.

In equally shocking and horrifying news, I am awake, I am alive, and I am throwing my hat in the ring to become the next president of the eUnited Kingdom.



Most of you are very familiar with who I am and my many credentials, so I will not bore you all with the details. Summarised, I am a former five time country president of the United Kingdom, many time congressman, and multi year serving minister of foreign affairs from a significant portion of the game in my almost 9 year lifespan.

More recently, I will admit, I have pretty much been napping.

Napping because of the eternal boredom if I am honest. We sort of stagnated for a good few years after lockdown. It has become more and more of the same. And I, like many of the residents of this country, accepted that as the new standard of life.

But then a man strangely resembling Peter Sellers approached me, and told me it didn't have to be that way. And I signed up to the Spamicans, re-igniting my energy, and my drive to make a difference and actually get involved.



Now I would firstly like to caveat something.

Huey George is doing a fantastic job.

He is a stable pair of hands. He is competent at what he does. And should he be re elected I will support him whole heartedly, even getting involved a lot more hands on in my role as MoFA (If he will still have me), perhaps even seeking to implement some of the things that I will describe to you here.

That said, after watching the Spamican rise during the last congress election, I do sense a need for change, and a battle against stagnation. And that is what I am here to offer you today.

So Without Further ado...

The Spamican Manifesto.

Firstly,

I would like to build upon the successful resurgence and climb in voter activity. I would like to introduce a non partisan scheme, called "Weaponise the Votes!"

Whilst this may sound terrifying, the actuality is quite simple. Open to every citizen of the eUK at vote times, on the 5th, 15th and 25th. You provide the government a screenshot proving that you have voted, and the government will reward you with a weapons care package. The quantity is up for discussion and we will listen to all opinions on that, but it really is as simple as it sounds.



Secondly,

I would like to look at rolling the NHS (If Select would be willing), MoED and any old activities that were covered under the MoHA, into the Department of Citizen Relations. This Department will do everything citizen related, including but not limited to;
- Messaging updates and key links to the population, including notifications of in game wall posts that they should be aware of, and a reminder of election dates, and any initiatives we are running, such as the NHS or the Weaponise the Votes scheme detailed above.
- Message regular updates from the government. As some congressmen have pointed out this term, they often miss things posted on the wall. Whereas I would like to expand upon the wall posts, I would also like this department to message citizens at least biweekly with updates on what has been done, in game, with a message notification.
- We also have had quite a few newbies to the game recently. The role of this department would be to reach out, take any questions, and potentially work towards updating some guides for new players.



Thirdly, and for now, finally,

There have been concerns recently of citizenship applications, specifically having the same naming theme, and of them all joining the same party, and being entered into congress lists immediately. Whilst not immediately concerned and I am really not trying to accuse anyone of anything here, It has become a potential concern. With a not very active population, we are rife for a potential PTO.

Based upon recent congress discussion, I would like to reform the Ministry of Foreign Affairs into the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration. The additional responsibilities of this ministry would be two-fold.
-Flagging counter PTO activities and being on the lookout for anything suspicious looking to discuss with congress and cabinet,
- Beginning an agreed upon vetting process working in conjunction with congress. Whether this be a brief questionnaire we ask any new entries to fill out, the remit will be given by congress and discussed fully. The minister will be responsible for approaching any new citizenship requests, questioning them, and then providing information and a recommendation (But Not Instruction! to congress for them to make an informed decision. This will serve as an extension of what we already do, but will provide more of a guideline for what we actually do!



Thank you for reading this quite lengthy manifesto. I have genuinely not sat down and written this much since I did my dissertation, which is quite depressing really.

Just to reiterate, a vote for AMD. is not a vote of dissent or chaos.
A vote for AMD is a vote for a fresh way of doing things.
