[Ambassadorial] eUK-Hungary Military Exchange Program

Day 731, 13:51 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by GGRyan

Hello, to my British and Hungarian readers! After my last ambassadorial report, and after the great reception it got, I decided that I would be writing up more of these for media consumption.

So, today, I am going to inform you more about the eUK-Hungary Military Exchange Program which you may have heard bits about. Mr Woldy and Lord Rhindon have both briefly mentioned it in articles, so today, I'm going to be taking a more in-depth look at the system, what happens and if its any good.

So what are the benefits?

- Our troops get daily fights, definitely.
- Our troops get awesome wages, compared to eUK
- They get mentors assigned and real, experienced advice
- They help our allies where needed
- It strengthens our relations further

Can I sign up?

Right now, no, you cant! Currently, a joint descicion has been made to run it primarily for the Royal Navy Training Division; to train the military of the future. It may also be used to give ships that are stuggling for deployment a bit of training; we never want our troops to be bored!

But, if it is deemed a success, it may be expanded further out until it hits the general public (although, if your active, the military is the way to go)!

And whats it like on the ground?
My apprentice in Hungary, John Thunscorpe, asked those very questions to someone over there, Tom Bowden. Over to you, John...

1) How did you end up joining the Royal Navy Training Division?
“Shortly after joining eRepublik and looking around I realised joining the military would be a fun activity and hopefully I will one day end a
up as a senior rank”
2) What is the RNTD doing over there? What is the group’s mission?
“As I recruit I have been sent because Hungary is almost constantly involved with wars and so it provides excellent training for us. In the wider sense we may may be the first of many as this could become the standard training for recruits due to the quick build in strength and experience it provides.”
3) What are your personal goals in the RNTD?
“Currently my aims are just to build up strength and experience - hopefully I will one day become a senior official involved in decision making as well as providing organisation”
4) How do you like being with the RNTD?
“So far the experience has been brilliant - the RNTD is well organised and I look forward to meeting other recruits. Also the White Eagles (the unit I have been assigned to in Hungary) have been very accommodating and helpful”
5) Anything else you would like to add?
“Just to say how much the members of the White Eagles have been extremely helpful and friendly providing advice and chat whenever I'm around”

Thanks to all involved in this deal. Montaigne, Hungarian MoFA was basically the founder; he has been awesome and I look forward to watching this program grow and grow. Thanks for reading!
