Listen to your player-base.



eRepublik is dying, there is no denying that, but I along with many other players want and are willing to help YOU keep this great game alive. If you want this as well, you're going to need to step up, listen, and take responsibility for your actions..

Ever since the launch of v2 and your failed attempts to get more money and by extension fatten your wallets, this game has become crap.

Don't get me wrong, eRep has many great features, and unlike some other players, I'm not going to chastise and/or rant for what you have done thus far. However, I will say that if you continue on this path of ignorance, all of your big investors are going to abandon the game, and this will in turn leave your pockets empty.



As much as you believe that we depend on you, you also depend on US, for both money and feedback.

So let's get right to it, we'll begin with some tips.

Lol, so many suggestions to choose from, but here are just a few:



-Get the Community more involved, yes involved. Before implementing a feature hold a vote on the forums and see if the community wants it implemented. If the majority wants the feature put in, then by all means incorporate it into the game. HOWEVER, do not do what you have been doing since the creation of this game, where you implement and remove features from the game without prior warning.



-ADVERTISE! Yes! Advertise! Us players cannot be the only ones bringing people into the game, you must help us too. I am yet to see an eRepublik ad for over a year now, and this can be part of the reason why the game is shrinking. Incentives for players will surely help them spread the word, but this cannot lead to a player-base increase alone.



-Don't try to fix what isn't broke, like the Media Module. Propaganda is a vital part of the game (Not to mention that freedom to post in any country increases your potential audience), do not get rid of it simply because it is an annoyance, governments must learn to deal with it accordingly.



-Simplicity is better than complication, as you have already learned with v2. Sadly you found out the hard way that the corner-stone of this game is that you can keep your citizen alive with 4 simple clicks. But you're still learning, and at least you undid what was broke (Even though that cost you much of your player-base).



-Greed will get you nowhere. I'm not calling you guys greedy, as eRepublik is a business, but don't try to force players into buying wellness/storage/other crap. Games that create a divide between those who spend rl money and those that don't tend to die after a few years. Don't do this.



-Do not IGNORE the community and think that the uproar/problem will go away with time. This will merely anger the players more and cause them to quit. This game is very good, regardless of the problems it has, but a player can only take so much.

eRepublik's Pros:



-Good and dedicated playerbase which is willing to help improve the game
-War Module is actually good, it could use some tweaking but I like it.
-Media Module is good, but you kind of messed it up with the update. Undo the bs and this will be great.
-Alliances, again kind of messed up, but fix it and it will be good again.
-Nice interface and lay-out, very user friendly.
-The Avatars add a little personal touch to the game.
-Political Parties are great for a more real-life touch eRep.
-In-game advertising/shoutbox. Very good for Campaigns/misc. stuff.
-Tutorials help get new players on track quickly, however with little to none of them around this isn't increasing player retention.

eRepublik Cons:



-Economic Module, needs a serious revamping with the whole raw materials fiasco.
-Bugs and glitches. Although this is beta, these little pests are getting quite fastidious.
-Incompetent Community Moderators, some are good, but many tend to be biased.
-Happiness, it is gone, but NEVER bring it back again.
-Hospitals. They should be added again because it is hard for people like myself to spend my own money just so I can get my wellness back up after a fight.
-Anger in the Community. The players are angry, they need you to take responsibility and make this game great again.
-Many others, but I couldn't think of them off the top of my head.

So Admins, all in all, this game has both it's pros and it's cons. You have been ignoring us from Day 1, but in this pivotal age if your old ways continue this game and your bank accounts, will shrivel away to nothing.
