[ADF] Update - Forum, Member of the Week and more!

The Australian Defence Force is proud to announce that we are now active on the eAustralian forums, and as such roll calls will be situated here from next Friday September 27th, and will run through until Mondays every week.

Members of the ADF Military Unit who attend roll call will now receive 500 Q4 food, along with your daily supply of 8 Q7 tanks if you complete your daily order. Details and a link to the roll call will be announced nearer to the time so please keep your eyes peeled!

We encourage all contributions and forum activity and look forward to seeing you there. We are also proud to announce the start of a new inter-unit competition. We have two large regiments and we decided to try something new, so accordingly we have named each regiment and offered them their own identity. Twice a week we will hold a competition to see which regiment has the most kills, the regiment that wins will see their soldiers all receive an extra two Q7 tanks each.

So without further ado we are pleased to announce the two new regiments -



Regiment One will now be known as the ADF Air Cavalry and Regiment Two will be the ADF Infantry. The idea behind this is to create activity and fun competitiveness within the Military Unit and we hope our members get involved.

The members of the ADF who are above level 30 will not have their kill counts added to the tally so this is literally just for the Division 1&2 soldiers and we expect this to be received in the friendly manner in which it is attended. If regiment members are happy then new avatars can be created but in the meantime if you contact me or Dr Hugh Jardon (the geezer than creates all these spangly graphics) then the existing avatar is available for your use, if you wish to use it!

Another new initiative we have begun is the ADF member of the week -



A private donation is being used to reward the most active fighters within the ADF, and so each week we will reward one lucky fighter with 200 AUD, again this is only open to fighters under level 30 as this is designed to offer that little bit of extra help while encouraging retention.

So how will the member of the week be chosen? Each week I will look to see who has completed their daily orders at least 5 times that week, those that have will have their names added to a random generator and the lucky name chosen will receive the 200 AUD. We settled at five as we accept the argument that some players only have access to eRepublik through various means and are not able to be active 7 days a week, this was taken into account and so we settled for activity in five out of the seven days.

So if you want a daily supply of 8 Q7 Tanks per day, a weekend roll call bonus of 500 Q4 Food AND the chance to win 200 AUD per week (aswell as hang around with some pretty cool people), then enlist today and join the Australian Defence Force.
