[AB4CP] Strength in Defeat

Firstly, I want to say thank you to my supporters. You are my strengths. Without you I would of never made it this far. We had a strong message, the right message, but I failed you in delivering that message. But what I will not do, as you should not, is dwindle on it. We must come out of this stronger than ever before. We must take tomorrow head on and tackle any obstacle that stands in our way.
While my political future is a question mark at this point, my private live is not. I campaign on bringing many issues to the private sector and that is exactly what I will do, one in point- Education. Which is why I am in the process of attempting to gain ownership of the eAustralian University. I plan to make it a pinnacle learning centre for all new players in Australia. As I am in current discussion with current owner, Xavier Griffith, it will be a process. So stay tuned to updates on the progress of it.
While this is a defeat, we can hold our heads up high. We have nothing to regret. Because today will become a memory, and tomorrow will be a sculpture that we must chisel. Thank you Australia, for this great opportunity.

Louise, it isn't an ignorant response. You see, that is the problem with Australia. Everybody thinks we should just welcome the govt. with open arms when they try and step in and "help." I'm sick of it. I'm going to prove to this nation that success can happen without government support.
Then why did you try get into government?

I felt I was the best person for the job. I wanted to bring much needed change to the persona of govt.

Adam. I find the true mettle of a person is how they act in defeat. I find a lot of merit in you for a gracious and don't quit message (many CP candidates who run then lose often crack it a little).
Keep on just being you.
