Last night, tdwester (an old friend of mine) published a fantastic article deconstructing exactly what the admin mean when they say something.

It is almost as if he read my mind when he wrote it.

I've shouted and messaged about this article, but it still isn't getting the traction it really deserves. Given my much larger subscribership, I figured I'd give it a slight review to give it a boost.

A Deconstruction of the Holy Admin Review

td does a fantastic job of analyzing exactly how the admin have been phrasing what they tell us and where they say it. He's also elicited a very short, but informative, article and comments from Jythier Smith about the rules which are being used to silence the media.

td shows how word selection makes a difference in the admin's messages and forum posts. He also clearly displays their lack of logical connectivity in their answers. Intrigued yet? Just go read the article.

See, it was a short and painless review. I would hope I whetted your taste just enough to go read it. But I should include some kind of fair warning: tdwester is an old old friend. You can probably see this if you go back to his article about the death of the USWP (from about 7 months ago). Given this old, tried and true friendship, I'm far less likely to criticize him publicly than someone else, and far more likely to give him credit when he is due it. Next, I'm far more personally invested in his deconstruction that one might think. Having been censured by the admin several times (only this past weekend) for writing articles openly encouraging discourse about their actions (which were not taken against all of the players of eRepublik) and so naturally this deconstruction, in my opinion, is one of the best descriptions of their actions without encouraging others to start criticizing them. (Let's face it, most everyone is already upset with their actions, so any article we publish isn't going to really incite anything more than what is already there.)
