#61 USA to Fall?

Day 1,295, 16:02 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Gambit8

Hello Readers!

Spain secured their American colony of Iowa in a resistance war whilst continuing to bombard the Americans and forcing them to retreat the region of Missouri. Now since they've blocked of a few regions they'll be looking to block a few more trade routes meaning they'll most likely go for Oklahoma and Texas. If Spain are able to do this they'll have to reinforce these regions in-case of a resistance war is won by America, reconnecting the region that belong to America.
To do this Spain would have to get Arkansas and Louisiana as well, or they could leave the solidifying of their progress to Hungary, which we'll get onto in just a bit.

America are forced to spread damage as Mexico have began a resistance war in Northeast of Mexico. This block more trade routes for America, including one of their only five weapon resources.

Meanwhile, in Canada, Sweden continue to move forward taking Nunavut from the Canadians. This also forces the Canadians to lose some resource bonuses as the Americans have accidentally blocked off six regions leaving Canada with only three useful regions.
However a resistance war has started in that particular American colony, in which they are losing.

Sweden's Canadian colonies will also soon be blocked off from their capital as a resistance war has began in Scotland which the UK needs to reconnect Northern Ireland.
UK have also attacked Shannon in which Ireland are winning. However since Scotland's resistance is almost finished with a UK win, the UK can look to concentrate damage in Shannon, another important region to the UK's progress in the war.

Hungary and Poland have once again wiped Germany off the map however Hungary don't want to war with France with the intent of wiping them, just to merely cross over to America with a trade route. Hungary will be probably going for Aquitaine as it's the only region of France's that borders North Carolina. North Carolina is the only place in which Hungary can actually go anywhere into America as Spain block off the rest of the land if Hungary enter America in a different route. Another reason to go the North Carolina route would be to get food resources as Hungary already have quite a lot of weapon resources. If Hungary's intentions are not to be against France then they should be looking to do as little damage as possible in France as they aren't the real target. Look at the map below to see how they can reduce their damage to France.

Germany have began a resistance war in Baden Wurttemberg to prevent the attack on France. Hungary are currently winning but it's pretty close and each side are unable to get a good lead as the bar keeps switching to and from 50% on both sides.

Sweden have also won in Schleswig Holstein and Hamburg, preventing Germany from getting back on the map, however if they want to get back on the map I do believe that is a pretty good place to start.

Bulgaria have declared Turkey as their natural enemy and with Turkey distracted with Russia, Bulgaria could well defeat the Turks. However since the Turks economy is slightly better than Bulgaria's, Turkey will be able to last a lot longer than Bulgaria will and that's assuming there will be no Polish/Serbian/Macedonian intervention.

Speaking of Russia however, they are down to their final region of Eastern Russia.
Russia are putting in more damage than they have done in the past, but Turkey are still putting in the damage and are currently winning in both Far Eastern Russia and the resistance in Moscow and Central Russia.

Greece have began a resistance war for Saudi Arabia in Jizan to block Macedonia from that particular Greek colony. As Greece know they are facing the end of their country they had to do something about it and if Greece are able to block this region then once all their home-regions are gone then they'd be left with one Saudi Arabian colony.
However, there is a major flaw in this plan. Macedonia have shown that they can and will win battle in other's resistance wars so even if Greece (Saudi Arabia) are able to win this resistance war, Saudi Arabia could begin another resistance war with Macedonian support, or Saudi Arabia could declare a full war on Greece with Macedonian, Serbian and Turkish support.

The Greek war is nearing an end and with that war closed, Macedonia could look towards Croatia or even decide to close that war with a Peace Treaty or an Italian resistance war and concentrate on Bulgaria. Or they could look to defend what they have while helping their allies.

Israel have been wiped off the map again by Cyprus. Cyprus are defending their colonies well and with each win Israel will get a little weaker for two reasons.
1) Israelis may start to leave the country and go looking for citizenship elsewhere
2) Israel spends money of resistance wars thus them getting weaker economically.

Luna have once again shown their worth by getting Philippines back on the map in Palawan and with quite a useful oil region giving them the means to produce more weapons for their next resistance probably in Luzon to feed their population with a food resource.

Since Luna are good at getting countries back on the map I'd much like to see North Korea join the alliance as it'd be interesting to see if Luna can handle China.
