[UKGov] Launching UK Tags!

Day 1,683, 12:57 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by eUK Home Office

It is important to pass on information. New and existing players need to be kept up to date, this is more than important, this is crucial to the success of the nation!

Articles are a hugely important way to pass on large amount of information to both UK players and others in the eWorld. This month jamesw has done an amazing job keeping information flowing on what is going on in the UK. He has been doing this via his newspaper and on the forum via presidential announcements.

This newspaper has also tried to keep information following with general news and information for new players. The MoD newspaper has also been putting out articles every two days, meaning there will always be UK military orders in the media.

There is information out there, and the government is trying to keep this up and is trying to put yet more information out! (Check out the MoHA image header, click on the bits you wish to read as there are links in it!)

Now that so much info is out there we need to help publicise the location of this info. MoHA staff have been encouraged to add people to their friends list who have showed activity in the media section of the game, and also to put out shouts informing citizens of things like: the NHS, military strikes, government articles, citizen advice and other bits too.

The idea came to me that the UK could benefit greatly if all this information could be linked together easily. Government articles should all contain links to all of the important articles/features of the UK, and furthermore this should be opened up for citizens to help too!

So these tags have been made:

Now these tags alone are useless, but put a link to the topic in the image, and you have an appealing link to the subject. Hover over these same images with links "underneath" them:

- Not currently used for UK gov business

- Made for future babyboom/retension features
- Not currently in use

Some of these have been created with future planning in mind, so not all have links behind them, these have been stated.

The UK government wants you to get involved in promoting these articles and features of the UK. Feel free to post these tags at the bottom of your newspaper.

Here are the image codes for the images:

To make the images 'work' insert a '' after the image code. Then copy and paste the page link before, the image code and enter a ']' after the page link. Put a '' after the '[/img]'.
