{DoEE} Amazing Race Update, Swiss Chess tournment and MU info

Day 3,039, 22:29 Published in Australia Australia by eAus Department of Information

G'day eAustralia,

Our esteemed MoEE Dirty Scarlet Silverbeard is still out plundering the 7 sea's, so unfortunately you have to put up with my article writing skills once again. But any information is better none...

Today the DoEE would like to talk about the ongoing 8 nation competition "The Amazing Race", an upcoming eSwiss hosted world chess competition and also answer a question from one of our MU leaders in regards about how to move money in out of MUs for use of COs and the like.

So let's begin...

The Amazing Race

The Amazing Race has started with a few eAussie's taking part in it. This was an idea brought up by Demon War and eAustralia was happy to be involved in.

Episode 1 has taken place with the contestants starting out in eSwiss and honing their skills with a pile of questions thought up by the eSwiss government.

And now the contestants are racing to the next country for the next episode of the game... where might that be... well the clue was in the Swiss article.

Stay tuned for more Amazing Race updates and for it's eventual journey to eAustralia.

eSwiss Chess Comp

Sticking with eSwiss, they will soon be hosting a eWorld chess competition. This has been done in the past by them, but this time they are opening it up to the eWorld to take part in it.

Military Units and Money

A question was raised to me the other day about how people can take money out of a MU, well I would like to give some answers to that, in more detail then I could via a comment.

First of all we need to look at how to put money into the MU and why someone would do that.

Donate:

If a Military Unit (MU) for Combat Orders (CO) or are in need of money for other things (a saving account for use in a rainy day/battle, MU comps, Mercenary actions, Revolution or Coup to name a few), they might ask for their members (must be lvl 25 or above) to Donate funds or the leader might place money in their on his own.

This is achieved by the use of the 'Donate' button, as seen here:

Where the player just has to enter the amount of money he/she wants to donate and then click the 'donate' button.

Combat Orders

After a sum of money has been raised, it can be used for different things (as explained above), this includes setting of Combat Orders as well as other uses.

Only the MU leader can set combat orders as per the game mechanics and they will see this screen:

From this pull down menu, they can select all the different requirements for the CO they want to set.

Fighter Citizenship: This allows the MU leader to choose if the COs is only available for a single selected country citizenship, or for everyone in the eWorld [/I](As far as I know, it can not be set for multiple countries eg. Only Nebula or MPP partners or only Country A, B, E and F. To do this, the leader will need to set multiple COs).[/I]

Military Unit: Like Fighter Citizenship this option allows the MU leader to set the CO for 1 MU or for everyones MU (by clicking the 'all' box)

Campaign Select: Here is where the MU leader selects which campaign they want to set the CO for. Select Side allows the choice of which side/country the CO's is set for in that battle. Choose Division is where the MU leader selects the division the CO is set in. To have a CO amount in each division, a separate CO needs to be made. This allows to the MU leader to set different currency/bar values and also allows them to direct damage via COs to a division that needs it.

Price per Damage: the amount of CC paid out per 1 million in damage given (as long as other criteria are met eg. domination, budget).

Maximum domination: is the 'bar percentage'. So if this is set for 62% and the battle is for Australia, once the Australian side reaches that amount the CO will be paused, until the domination has dropped below again.

Combat Order Budget: This here is the total amount of money set aside for the single combat order (please note, if a CO still has a budget after that round is complete, it will carry on to the next round)

An example CO:

As you can see from the above image as an example CO, this one has been set for:

1) Fighters of Australian citizenship.
2) Must also be in the KnightHawks MU
3) Fighting in the Australia vs South Africa Campaign
4) Fighting on the Australian side.
5) And fighting in Division 4.

If the player meets all those requirements, they could start earning the CO money...

6) The amount per million damage is 50cc
7) Which is only available while the determination is below 54%
😎 With the maximum funds available for use being 50,000cc

So by rights, this CO will be buying/rewarding 1 Billion in damage (I hope my math is right... I am half asleep at the moment :/ )

How to get money back out of the MU:

If lets say, the MU leader or members donated 100k cc for a battle, but only spent 20k on combat orders. They might want to get the remaining cc out of the MU and back into their accounts or an Org. To do this, the MU leader will need to create a CO.

However the trick is (this becomes harder for larger MUs or ones with a lot of people with the same CS and division) to set a CO that is only available for the person who you want to receive the money.

For example, if I wanted to cash out money out of my MU, I would need to set a CO that is available for me....

Citizenship Australian
MU Cowboys From Hell
Battle this doesn't matter (only effects the need for moving tickets or not)
Side preferably set for a side that is an allied nation, otherwise it could look bad you hitting for the enemy.
Division For me, it would be division 3

Now that you have limited the other players who might accidently get their hands on the cash withdraw, you need to set the amounts. For the 80k example above:

CO Amount 80,000cc
Determination 99% (it is safer to set it high incase it is already a one sided battle)
CO Budget 80,001cc (from my experience the game will not let you set the amount the same as CO amount. But you could do 79,000cc/mil budget of 80k)

Then let your fellow MU members know what your doing and hit away.

Well I hope you have enjoyed that article and remember look into the eWorld Chess comp and also the Amazing Race. As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to ask them.

*Note: I have tried to ensure the above information is correct in regards to MU's and CO's. But always ask around and do your own research (incase the game has changed or I have gotten something wrong). There is a link embedded in the article for the CO Wiki page.
