Attention eIreland,
It is that time of the year when we do what eIreland should do every month... declare war on the UK.
However it also gives me a chance to revive the old "News From the Front" newspaper style of writing. but before we get into the actual war, let me run through a few things.....
Today some of you might of noticed your CP... yes me Rusty D
RustyD propose a Declare War law on the UK. This law, to be frank and upfront, is not a law that has been discussed with our allies in CODE, but a law, that should of been issued a millennium ago. Northern Ireland is Irish and belongs in the Irish domain. We have conquered it many times to try and bring the universe into harmony, but alas the powers of Plato and eRep take it away from us.
But fear not eIreland, Rusty D is peeved and here to waste money on a browser game to ensure it happens.
Today, I have declared a Declaration of War against the UK to ensure we have a United Ireland in time for Christmas. I want to be joining you all, YES you Ireland for Eggnog in Belfast. And since many of you know I am an alcho, we will be eyeing off Scotland as well.
That is enough for now, hopefully our law passes (I have offered congress the refund of gold paid to DoW and asked the Finns to hold off their attack for us) and we get to enjoy a United Ireland.

Will be a bit of fun for us over Christmas - we've been forced into a peace treaty with our occupiers, so it's rare for us to have a chance to tank for our country, but luckily you didn't sign up so this battle will be fair game.
A home epic would be a good way to kick the Christmas event off too.

One question though - why is the "Free Australian Press" so gung-ho about reuniting Ireland?
started my eRep life in Australia, cant be arsed changing the name of the paper.
Thought you would enjoy a decent frolic rather then playing lapdogs, hope it can spread some old Christmas cheer across to the UK as well. But I get the feeling your occupiers will intervene and not allow it to happen.
You could tank against everyone if you want to, you just don't have the guts to do it. Good old UK, always going along with the stronger alliance.

CODE/Andes made it clear we'd be occupied and embargo'd, not really willing to let my country die so I can feel better about myself. Some of us put country before personal pride. Speaking of which, if you want to discuss our countries and their relationships with alliances further, we can talk about the REAL circumstances of this war instead of just the propaganda above?

It seems like you have a good story to tell here, so what is the real circumstances? I would like to know what apparently I am thinking or doing as it appears you know more about my brain then I do.
On the other topic, happy to see you hit your PP and get that Epic in. A bit of UK v Ireland stosh over Christmas bevies is always good. Only down side is we ended up in f'n Wales of all places.

You stole a few medals off me, no biggie, Hell even Tech even takes them occasionally. If everyone went to war because some stole a medal, this place would be crazy. I have a bit brain power then medal chasin.

I wouldnt call it chucking cash, we have over 4k of gold in our countries accounts that isnt doing squat and can only be cashed out at a massive loss.
Today is Christmas, battle would of started earlier if Finland didnt move in, so in regards to the timing, it is perfect to provide Ireland Christmas festivities.
One SH medal is mweh, I have never been in this game to farm medals, I have enough in my profile and I have enough gold/cc that I waste it building factories to continue to give away free food/cash etc in give aways.
But run with the "He has a medal stolen" line, it is great to see Sir Appleby or what ever, took all the crap I sent him hook line and sinker, even funnier when he ran to Turkey with out realising I was trolling him.
I wonder if NI will reunite with Ireland after UK leaving EU. Never was bigger historical chance than now.
The Unionists sold out when they agreed to power sharing. The Good Friday Agreement inevitably set a course for a united Ireland. Remember Sunningdale and the slogan "Dublin is just a Sunningdale away".
