The Forums; A How & Why

The Forums

Hello fellow eUKers this article we aim to show you how to get onto the forums, and explain how vital to getting the most out of eRepublik and how awesome they can be!

Step 1

Go to this URL; http://forums.erepublik.co.uk/, then on the top left click Register, follow the instructions and in no time you will be registered and ready to go.

It is on the forums where everything happens; politics, general discussion, the different parties have their own private sub-forums and various MU's utilise the forums. If you wish to advance in any of these fields, sign up ASAP.

Step 2

What do you do now? Well you can go introduce yourself in the Indructions section and get free goodies in the Free Stuff for New Members section.

Free stuff can be found in the following threads:

Royal Welcomes - King Woldy will give you free stuff
Welcome Baskets - Picnic hampers from a leading party
Tasty Omelettes - More food from another lead party
Tesco Vouchers - Free stuff from another leading party

Also available is:
'Prinny Juice' from the Prinny Squad (free food)
And lastly, CAKE courtesy of Kravenn.

If you're in a party you can request access to their forums or even join the Game Of Thrones game, and other events and competitions that give you the chance to win cash prizes.

You will even find links to IRC where you can chat real time with other Erepublik players!

Now some influential Erepublik UK players will talk about there experiences with the forums.

Our first guest is our current Prime Minister Iain Keers.

Would your success have been possible without the Forums? And what do you enjoy the most on the forums?

I suppose the thing I enjoy most about the forums is that you can have a debate with people without having to be there all the time. You can come back later and respond to points. And there's a permanent record so you can check back on what you've said.

I suppose the forums gave me the opportunity to get to know the community and better understand the game. It's pretty much impossible to become any sort of leader without using the forums, so that was really the first step on my three and a half year political career.

Our next guest is Frerk, when asked if he would have had as much success without the forums he replied :"The forums are essential for anybody who wants to achieve anything."

And to end it all Talon Karrde, a very influential player who was prime minister for two terms.

How did the Forums help you reach success, and would that success have been possible without using the forums? Also what would you recommend new players to do on the Forums?

Hey, and thanks for interviewing me. The forums literally made the difference between success and failure for me. For a long time I did what's refered to as 'two-clicking' in eRepublik, in other words just clicking buttons in game and not really paying much attention. That was all well and good, but it didn't really keep me playing much. The forums changed all that. I joined up, requested access to my party, The Unity Party, and asked there to be run for congress. Their support kickstarted my political career and saw me reach the heights of the President's office, twice. The two greatest parts of the game for me are my party, and the forum as a meeting ground for that. The politics aren't the only thing to do on the forums though, there's a lot of fun to be had too. I've personally started up a big forum game recently, based on the Game of Thrones franchise, where the houses compete for the throne. I'd encourage everyone to get involved with that!

Thanks to all the readers and the Players who helped make this article possible, and get on the forums ASAP!
