By this point, most of the New World has heard of Ajay Bruno. By this point, most of the New World rolls their eyes at the very mention of his name, or the mention of his new account since Ajay Bruno was mercifully banned early this year, Pizza the Hut. The people who suffer the most from Ajay's antics are the people who are forced to share a political party with the citizen who has been ranked #1 in eRepublik's Top 10 Most Wanted for fighting against eUS interests or organizing PTOs against eUS polities. That poor unfortunate party for the last few months has been the eUS's Republican Party. Their current Party President, Josh Whitehead felt compelled to nominate Pizza the Hut for Country President in August, thereby violating the agreement the other parties had supporting the election of the candidate receiving the most votes in the eUS National "primary" as part of Operation: Swift Fury. Operation: Swift Fury was covered in the last edition of Blurred Lines and will not be discussed further in this edition except to say that the entire purpose was to support our Croatian allies in Broatia.

Whatever the reasons for Josh Whitehead's support of Pizza the Hut in the CP election, my role as the Federalist Party's Ambassador to the Republican Party has given me a front row seat to watch the slow moving bus which Pizza the Hut has been uncerimoniously thrown under. The Republican Party is not simply another Ajay-cult Party like the Conservative Victory Party (CvvVVVVVVVVvvvvVP) of August 2009 or the various incarnations of a political party taking eSouth Africa by lulz following Ajay's disgrace after losing the CvvVVVVVvvP to Jaxon Leith. The Republican Party has an adopted charter requiring a forum based primary for Party President not dissimilar from the Federalist Party's own ATO mechanism. Following this discovery and conversations with active members of the Republican Party it was clear that Pizza the Hut had been wearing out his welcome and no longer served in an official capacity within the party. As the Republican Party's PP campaign progressed all of the candidates began to compete for how far they could distance themselves and their party from Pizza the Hut and his destructive and self-involved influence.

Josh Whitehead seems to have taken it upon himself to nominate Pizza the Hut for CP without following the charter's process for selecting a nominee. This is a mistake which he appears to recognize and intends never to repeat, but he is not the best communicator in the party so his positions are difficult to nail down. Darrel Anderson 2, the other winner of the PP primary, is much better at making his positions known and understood. Along with his VP running mate, Richard Nixon II, they have both published newspaper articles and been active on eUS Forums denouncing Ajay.

The Republican Party also held a debate Friday between the primary finalists. The debate focused on each candidates' plans for developing the Republican Party's organizational infrastructure, and ended with a direct question about Pizza the Hut/Ajay's future in the party. Darrel Anderson 2 and Richard Nixon II were still much clearer and unequivocal about their position, but even Josh agreed that there was only one place appropriate for Pizza the Hut.
