A new war for us to fight in Today - Turkey set Hungary as their Natural Enemy (NE). This means that the game opens a free war between the nations, and as Turkey set Hungary as their NE before Hungary set Turkey as their NE, the game allows Turkey the right to open the first battle. This right is important: because in eRepublik warfare, timing is everything. This battle is for a Ukrainian region, with Hungary having removed Ukraine from the map and ensured they have no congress this month. Thus, the Turkish invasion is to be read along the EDEN influence lines: in exchange for failing to get Ukraine on the map and have a congress, EDEN have asked Turkey to free their regions for them.

Next general strike date: Sunday, eRepublik Day 1832. 8PM Uk time (12:00 eRepublik time) on IRC, in #eUK.strikes.
