Easy BH?!

Yesterday I was asked by bnboy how to get easy battle hero medals. The answer is quite tricky: it’s never really easy. Nevertheless there are some general ways of doing.

First you need to know how much influence you can make with your energy. For that either you know it from previous battles either you check on websites like: http://ereptools.info/damage . You should also consider your damages and influences which could come from bazookas and bombs if you use them. Especially bazookas if you are not in division 3 (or even 4).

So for example I have 500 energy so I can make 50 hits of Q7 giving me an overall influence pool of 1 000 000 influence as I make more or less 20 000 influence per hit. But I have two bombs doing 5 000 000 influence in a strike, therefore my total goes up to 11 000 000 influence available.

Then you look for battles where you can easily win a BH medal with your influence. Preferably battle which end fastly. For that, use this tool : http://www.erepublikanalyzer.com/BuscadorBH.aspx .

For example I looked for battles with 10 000 000 influence within 10 minutes in division 3, keeping the remaining 1 000 000 as security margin:

It gave me only one result. Note that it is highly correlated with the time of the day and events. Easy BH are usually found at night (between 15h and 00h eRepublik time [00h / 9h GMT+4]).

When you are looking for a battle consider the fact you want to spend the less damages possible. So it is better to check over:

-Current battle hero: as if it is an active BH hunter he will counter your action and you will end up making too much damages.
-The winning side and the %: if you are fighting for the loser side you don’t want the war to be longer, therefore you don’t want to make the loser winning because if it’s longer it means more opportunities for others to steal your BH.
-Time left in the battle: for the same reason as above, more time, more opportunities for others. Most BH hunters strike when there is 1 or 2 minutes left.



So that was the general way. Few notes then:

As you can see BH needs making high damages in short times that’s why it’s better to have the highest strength possible (look at pen zi one r profile; his strength and his bh medals).

In division 1 and 2 your strength is not enough for BHing perfectly unless you start strengthening (it means that you don’t fight unless for BHing, therefore you don’t get lot of experiences and you could end with 20/30k strength in this division, allowing you to BH everyday [like pen zi one r]) . Therefore if you are not strengthening you should only rely on your number of bazookas. They make 10 000 influence per hit (10 energy) and you can hit 3 times with one bazooka.

Be aware that some citizens have bombs which can deal according to division and type of bomb from 50 000 to 5 000 000 influence in one strike. Therefore it is always better to strike the later possible, just to let them less time to react.

Getting BH memdals require more and more strength as you level up. Check the d4 wall article to know what it means. Therefore you will get BH more easily in lower division than higher division. That's why some like me (JdlF) advice you to strengthen the sooner.

BHing is good for your economy as it rewards you with:

2 golds in division 1
3 golds in division 2
4 golds in division 3
5 golds in division 4

When you cumulate it with the fact it costs less the stronger you are, strengthening becomes one of the best way to make golds in eRepublik.
