[POTUS]Where Are We Going

Day 2,048, 13:03 Published in USA USA by GoneAndGone

Hello my fellow Americans,

It has been eleven days since my last article. This was not my plan, nor what the citizenry deserves, but what’s done is done, my mistakes are my own. The flak I have received for this has been well deserved. That said, I assure you these past eleven days haven’t been without work being accomplished, nor have then simply been wasted away.

Anyone who looks at the map sees that the invasion has not been halted, despite the combined efforts of the USAF, US-AIM forces, and our CoT allies. Though, while it has not been halted, some small victories have occurred; when we’ve gone all in, balls to the wall H.A.M. in a battle, we’ve displayed that we can win resistance wars, and that we can beat back our invaders. When coupled with well-coordinated drains in Europe, we can even take battles off the stronger of our invaders in Serbia. While this, as of now, hasn’t led to a turnaround in the overall invasion, it has ensured that our congress was preserved, which is key to ensuring that programs continue to be funded and that the day-to-day operations of the country aren’t hindered. While this isn’t a massive victory, it’s a victory nonetheless, and for that, I’d personally like to thank everyone one of you who has continued to fight, my defense staff for running supplies when needed, and the officers of US-AIM who have stayed in regular contact with me so that our military operations are coordinated, efficient, and effective.

One thing which was finalized recently is the C.U.B treaty between Croatia, the United States, and Brazil. As originally reported in the WHPR this treaty formalizes the brotherhood between our three countries. Through good times, and bad times, through alliance beginnings and ends, Croatia and Brazil have stood by us, assisted us, defended us, and this treaty aims to put into writing our mutual commitment to each other. Moving forward, we can continue to stick together, fight together, and succeed together.

The title of this article is “Where Are We Going” and yet, I’ve spoken of the only the past so far. So, let me propose that question again - where are we going?

Forward.

That’s a stupid response to that question, but look at us; we have seven regions left, our bonuses are laughable, and our invaders aren’t letting up anytime soon. This will quickly become not simply an invasion, but a war of attrition; a trial of deciding who can outlast, outlive, and outplay their foes.

These reasons are why we’re moving forward. Look at everything the American populace has dealt with in this game - Ajay and the PTOers, military splits, shit presidents, wipes, crappy alliances - and yet, we’re still going strong, we’ve kept our reputation as one of the most influential countries in the eWorld. No other superpower can say they’ve dealt with what we have and still maintained their top dog status.

Yet we can. And it’s because of our ability to outlast, outlive, and outplay all competition that with time, we’ll beat back these invaders.

And that starts now. So far, we’ve successfully won resistance wars, but all that means is we’ve successfully resisted. Victory is not made off the backs of resistance, it is made from the continued victories in direct conquest. To this end, to be victorious, we must win a direct battle against our invaders. I’ll touch upon this more in a day or so after discussing it with some people over in US-AIM, so until then, I ask of all our soldiers to be ready to go all in soon. Victory will not be this term, but the path to victory must start today so that when the next president comes in, he has the ability to build off of it in glorious fashion.

Until next time, swag out America
