Just What is a Grab Bag, anyways?
Grab Bags fundraising organizer: Kara Beth

Have you ever bought a grab bag before? If you have, you probably had no idea what was inside. What you would know is that most of the bags are worth less than what you would pay if you bought the contents on the market.
But you go ahead and buy it anyway, knowing that there are a number of possibilities for a bigger payoff. Whatever is inside, you always get some return on your investment. There are no empty bags.
These Grab Bags are unique in that you know the contents of each and every bag. The only thing is that you don't know which bags contains what items.

These funds will be used for Bewbs 4 Newbs, Meals on Wheels & the eUS Civilian Military Group. When new players join the game, these are the government give-away programs that accelerate their growth, increase their battle influence, and keep them playing this game we all invest ourselves in.

Meals on Wheels

The Meals on Wheels program has literally been around forever. Seriously. Scholars debate, but common opinion holds that Meals on Wheels was founded sometime last Thursday at least 100 years ago. Regardless of age, Meals on Wheels has consistently been the one place you throw noobs to if you want them to one day not be noobs (one can only hope). They know the New World can seem a bit overwhelming which is why they give out handy links to game guides, mentors, food, and sexual favors [citation needed].

This reporter recently took to the streets to ask players what impact Meals on Wheels has had on their lives.

Synesi; Executive Officer, USTC: "I remember overfighting because I didn't understand how to correctly use the hospital back in V1. MoW supplied me with food and helped me figure out effective food management. Thank you MoW, you helped me get to where I am today."

Mark Isaac Pettit; 7 days old, first time MoW user: "Their response to my request for food was so fast, I have no doubt that I'll use it again! And that food helped me level up to LT***"

Bewbs For Newbs is a program dedicated to providing eUS citizens with food. Citizens of this country can fill it out daily, and they will receive 180 health. However, if you post the sexiest pick of the day, you'll get an extra 90 health along with two Q5 tanks. To fill out it, you'll have to go on the eUS forums, and go to this topic. Basically, you post a picture of a hot guy or girl, and are sent the amount of food posted above. Although it sounds like a program for new players, citizens of all levels can fill it out. The DoI requests that you don't fill it out if you don't actually need the food. Here's what Molly Emma thinks about bewbs for newbs so far this month:
"Daily requests are still up! There have been new faces almost every day and many satisfied players set on the path to being productive eCitizens! Just last week we distributed over 25K health!"

Here's what some people have to say about the program:

youngHOOD: "B4N is the best program for the noobs, especially for the active ones who try to fight as much as possible but can't produce enough food to do it."

Deificus: "It's good for the newbs and plenty of good and wholesome 'Murikan fun though.

PiginZen: "There is probably a better method to help new citizens get fed and learn about the metagame at the forums. What that is, I don't know at this moment."

The DoI thanks the kind citizens to donated supplies to help their programs.

Civilian MU
White House Press Corps Writer: G. A. Custer

The eUS Civilian Military Group was created by extreme patriot Speedcat McNasty and given to the Office of the President of the United States of America. The Unit receives no government funding, and supply is provided through private donations.
Read more about the Civilian MU at this edition of the WHPR.

Requests for supply have risen, and are straining the regular donors' ability to keep up. One of the benefactors of this upcoming Grab Bags event will be the eUS Civilian Military Group, to be able to continue supplying new players with weapons to fight for America.

The Grab Bags Fundraiser Event starts Friday Day 1522

Tune in to this newspaper early Friday to reserve your Grab Bag. First come, first served.
No Grab Bags will be sold before this newspaper publishes early Friday.
Volunteers will be on duty most hours to update the list as you post your request in the Comments section.
Grab Bags will be purchased as Donations directly to Kara Beth, who will confirm receipt and update the spreadsheet.
Do not send anything to this Org!
You may Donate goods, cash or gold to Kara Beth for distribution in the Grab Bags, and will be recognized for your contribution.
