Admin Changes to the Economy Module
This morning, after a couple hours offline, eRep Admins dropped a set of changes on us to the Economy Module which will take a day or so to explore and analyze. It is hoped that our Administration's Economic experts and advisers will do this and present a thorough report to the American people, in a Special Extra edition of this newspaper tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the media and Shout bar are buzzing with tidbits of information as players wend their way through the maze of changes.

We can quickly learn how to adapt to the new ways of employee management and our own daily work, but the longer term effect on the economy and prices will take at least a week to collect enough data for a competent analysis.
Read and think before rampaging through your new daily clicks. Don't do anything drastic without serious study. 2-clickers and day-trippers should be able to pop through this on a good guess without getting hurt, but big business tycoons are advised to be very careful as they experiment on a large scale.

US Congressman Henry "Pfeiffer" Arundel made the Proposal this morning to return Income Tax to the 18% level it had been at before the surprise change, and it will pass. We can expect the Economic Council to monitor things very closely to see whether further adjustment s must be made, but returning to what we had is a safe move and our Congress did very well in taking immediate action.
Domestic Threat Continues
Three days old, with over 660 Friends?
As reported a few days ago in this and many US newspapers, Pizza the Hut II was permabanned. Within hours a crop of similarly named new players were created, and all have since been permabanned.
Now there comes yet another incarnation of the most dangerous man in America, in the form of new player General Cartman Lee.
Some sources have reported that this new player has been contacting US Congressmen with a mixed plea and threat, urging them to grant US citizenship to enemy combatants, "or else."
Others say this is not the actual Greasy Cheeseball but someone who's created a multi to distract us from the true threat, or maybe for his own amusement.
While we cannot be certain exactly what form this shapeshifter has taken today, there is one thing we can be absolutely certain of:
There is a snake in the grass, who disappears and resurfaces at will, plotting his next strike at American freedom and democracy.
Beware and be on alert, citizens and Congressmen, this slick trickster will smile and extend one hand in friendship while reaching with the other to stab you and America in the back.
Report all suspicious activity to your nearest authority, to help keep this threat to America in check.
Presidential Candidates Announced
Oblige vs Vanek26 vsGnilraps vs Aeriela vs ??
Most political Party Primaries are not complete, so the field is not yet set for next Monday's Presidential Election. But candidates are declaring their intent, and with many of NSC Director Vanek26's supporters being members of President Oblige's current Administration, this promises to be an interesting campaign season.
While Cabinet appointees and undersecretaries, etc., shift into election mode and become political competitors for the week, it is expected that all will continue to perform their assigned duties for people of the United States with the same professionalism, focus and zeal for success as ever.
WHPR's sister publication, the Pony Express, will be collecting URLs of US media coverage of all candidates and will publish an All POTUS Edition just before the election. Normal publication days are M-W-F, so the Pony Express will publish this Special Edition on Saturday February 4.
American and Allied Hot Spots
Of course there's the RW at Asturias, Spain's daily futile effort to take America's Iron.
Brozil attacks Spain at Castilla La Mancha; Spain's trying to RW at Andalucia.
Ireland is RW'ing Louth, while the U.K. tries to RW Scotland.
Italy's direct attack on Slovenia at Swiss Romandie was successful, while Switzerland wages an RW against Slovenia at Graubunden.
Germany has launched an RW against Poland at Bavaria.
New Croatia has its hands full down south: A Mexican RW at Southeast of Mexico and a Colombian uprising at Andina.
Brozil has action on its home continent as well, with Peru trying to get back on the map at Northern Low Amazon.
