We've heard the excuses, for the lack of communication between the government and MU leaders. We've heard excuses how it's everyone's fault but the govt, when we lose a battle or two, because we don't sit in their channels and get orders direct from the supposedly "top military leaders". We've seen the mudslinging, when someone not in a govt MU disagrees with what they say.
I would love to see the excuse they come up with for the following....
Current Vice President (and future Presidential hopeful I am betting) of the eUSA Israel Stevens obviously follows a "Do as I say, not as I do" policy, as he secured a Top 5 spot in a battle we were suppose to LOSE. I am sure eAmericans are waiting with bated breath for an excuse answer.

Israel Stevens is a detriment to our country.
He is a classless, clueless excuse for a VP, and he should not be allowed back into a cabinet position under any circumstances.
Over the last few days, he has showed that he is not only immature and a poor leader, but that he is also incompetent in any function.
220K is nothing in a key battle... and you know it ...
like Bramzioul said.. anyhow .. it amuses me to see 2-3 months old players judging and giving verdicts like they used to play forever 🙂
@ Bramzioul If you're the VP of a country, with aspirations of becoming CP, you should be setting an example. Not disregarding the orders everyone else is suppose to be following, and glorifying it by making a top 5 spot, regardless of the amount of damage.
@ JustNosfe Only one of the previous commenters is 2-3 months old. The rest have all been playing 2-3 Years, I think they have earned the right to give an opinion. Just as we all do.

I was offline (IRC/Forums) almost all day yesterday and when I logged in at night, didn't even think about it and just dumped (a paltry 220K) for Bromania. That damage certainly did not cost us the battle.
But you're right, that's no excuse. I should of taken a few moments and double checked the orders.
I'd also like to point out, that Battle 1, was the only battle that Hungary won.
One person mis-hitting in an mb or battle is one thing it can and will happen. When swarms of a group do it it is completely different. But, that's completely irrelevant to the originator of this because it is far easier to throw crap than to handle internal issues.

Bated is a contraction of abated through loss of the unstressed first vowel (aphesis).
This form of abated has dropped out of the language except for this one idiomatic phrase: bated breath (which basically means "I'm holding my breath.") It is very common to see it spelled as "baited breath" even though that phrase is, strictly speaking, meaningless. ("My breath is on a hook"?) So no major grammar points taken off for that.

When you have Inwegen singling out Easy Company to score points on a similar issue (Denmark) when the directions to fight against our interests were not implemented well, you kind of bring this on yourself.
We'll stand down as a collective when Inwegen, Vanek, Pfieffer and Israel stop trolling others en masse for their own political gain. In other words, not in the near future.

I will say that I have fought on the wrong side to get the mercenary award, but then I felt guilty and fought on our side more to make up for it. Had a screenshot somewhere of me fighting myself, it was epic.
But anyhow, I would think the VP should know better. High visibility players can't hide. Someone will see you do shit, so don't do it. Simple as turds in a compost.

As for the reasoning behind this article, it was in direct response to the whole Denmark fiasco. In no way can it be blamed on lack of communication, or not sitting in the govt's mil channel. (He is the govt)
Oh and by the way, why were there no DoD orders yesterday? Are we only doing them every other day now? Is that how we're going to win battles?

It's one thing for a lower level player (who isn't necessarily aware of everything that is going on) goes off and does something they are not supposed to, a small talking might be needed but the yelling and bitching was over the line
It's another when one of the people yelling and bitching is the VP and has aspirations to be the CP and goes off and does the basically the same thing the lower level player did . . .
Wow, making an article about a paltry 220k damage that was mistakenly put on the wrong side is really petty. I see people do this kind of thing all the time, whether they are new or old. It happens. We're not all perfect.
You should have seen the temper-tantrum the Olde Guard threw in the government forums when the Powers that Be failed to effectively inform the US Populace of the need to fight for the English in that RW a few days ago.
Who's fault was that? According to the Olde Guard (who are omniscient, if not omnipotent), the American people's, for not being better mind readers.
I remember when the politicians decided they could handle the DoD and the military better than the team of people focused on nothing but. Back then if the DoD wasn't updated every 12 hours someone threw a bitch fit.
Glad to see the politicians are doing such a bang up job of managing our military and our orders.

And if you cannot set positive examples, cannot read orders before you fight, cannot click a button, cannot respect the people that you SERVE, cannot follow the rules of your team, cannot take responsibility unless there is no way to pass the buck to someone else first and readily bend your team over the couch with no lube just so you can be famous and get more power...you are not ready for leadership outside of a prison cell.

What does this article and these comments say to new players? We need to tone down the venom on both sides if we're going to keep newbs playing.
It always amuses me how whenever the "small" people speak up, we need to tone down the venom. We need to keep ALL players in the game, and that doesn't include hiding the dirt and lying to get people to stay.
How about we clean up the dirt and let people speak AND play, too?
And newbs will keep playing, if they are provided a home, some acknowledgment, the ability to be involved and feel like they matter, and some fun. We used to provide that for them in abundance, now we toss scraps of food and weapons at them and pat them on the ass and tell them to be silent.
Everyone matters and EVERYONE has a right to speak.
Actually I think everyone needs to just join USMJ and take a huge bong hit! People are friendlier stoned!

I left the game about two months ago when the level of rhetoric, distrust, an outright nastiness had become too much. I come back and see that it seems to be worse. I came back to play this game, have fun, and teach new players there is more to this game than two-clicking and trolling. Maybe it's a lost cause though.

Dennis McVicker starts playing in Jan of 2010, has not done much nor been a public figure for any length of time and is still under lvl 30. Bia has been doin' shit here since about the time I started playing a year and a half ago. I've ran into McVicker recently proclaiming shit about the old UIP that I know was made up BS. He just thought he could get away with shit because they all left. He didn't know about me I guess.
