Interview with DMV3

Day 2,057, 20:00 Published in USA USA by DylanBAS

Hello! I’m DylanBAS, here talking with my esteemed guest, the spokesman for AIM, DMV3. This is my first interview for the paper so get ready, this is live from the front of US-AIM.
Your text to link here...
Hello. Ready for the interview?
yes sir
Fire away, just realize it may take me a minute or two to respond because I'm doing other things as well
sure thing.
Many people aren’t familiar with what the NSC is or does. Can you explain your job?
Well the NSC director is in charge of setting battle priorities for USAF and coordinating damage with our allies and other MUs

I'm also in charge of coming up with battle strategy and implementing it.
What has the discussion been like lately among the security council?
Well yesterday's win has made things a little brighter, but lately things have been pretty quiet because we know there is still a lot that need to be done before things get any easier.
As far as what as been discussed that really isn't something we tend to share publicly for obvious reasons.
I'll bet. Anyway, as well as being the head of US-AIM, you are head of the NSC. What effect do you think this will have on both US-AIM and the USAF in the coming rebellion?
Well I'm not the head of US-AIM, I'm more along the lines of a spokesperson. The hope this month is that US-AIM and the government will be on the same page as far as where to hit. So far it seems to be working out pretty well.
I mean, what will change between US-AIM and the USAF do to your mutual leadership of them. Many people speculate that was a big reason Paul chose you. To bring about a change in the dynamic between them.
Well I have relinquished my duties as far as publishing their orders since that would become a conflict should their orders be different for whatever reason. Like I said I'm not the leader of US-AIM, each MU CO is equal in their say of what goes in the group. All participation is voluntary so even if the group makes a decision no one is bound by.
I do think that was Paul's hope in picking me. We have known each other awhile and I know he has a great deal of respect for US-AIM and what we're trying to do for the nation.
I know you are not the leader, but I have heard rumor of a “fireworks” strategy in US-AIM lately Do you know what this is? What is this and how will it be used?

I'm unfamiliar with a "fireworks" strategy, but yet again we try not to make strategy public until after we've done something just so our enemies don't know what we're doing.
any other questions?
I'm not the most exciting person to interview as there is a lot I can not really talk about that would make an article interesting.
Don't worry. This is all very good stuff. Speaking of good stuff, if we ever came to a truce with Serbia, what would be the terms you would want in there? This is assuming we come out victorious.
There would never be a truce with Serbia, but in the off chance there were the conditions are simple they leave our territory and we give them nothing in return. America does not negotiate with terrorist states.
Too true. Can't say I'd be any different about it.
In order to even get there, we would have to have an awful good strategy. What specific strategy would you propose for getting back on our feet after the initial invasion that has occurred?
Very simple, a war of attrition. The only way you win against an opponent or opponents with superior firepower is to make the war as costly or painful for them as possible.
At least it gives us the chance to kick some TWO asses. Always love making the enemy hate fighting so much that they give up.
What people need to realize is this is going to be a long and slow war with the US gaining territories and being wiped until things improve.
Just wondering, how does US-AIM choose what MU’s are included?
Well new MUs contact one of the COs and then their membership is brought up for discussion. If we approve of them as a group they are accepted.
Who would you pick as a successor for US-AIM leadership if you ever had to pick someone?
There is no successor, the group runs the show not an individual. I know people like thinking of US-AIM as a hierarchy with someone in charge, but we're really more like a Congress where the decisions are made by the body as a whole.
Well thank you for all these brilliant answers. Just one more question that has been in my head. Is it a coincidence that you are named, “DMV”? Does it make some people irritated that they must be reminded of long lines and lazy workers when they see your name? Of course no offense to you.
My in-game name was the same as my irc name, but people just called me DMV so I decided to change it.

: Well thank you for your time. A lot of questions have been answered here and people will love to hear the answers. Also, kudos! You are the first person who has had the pleasure of airing in the interview section of my new newspaper,"Live From the Front" Until next time, I'm DylanBAS, signing out.
