Just my two cents on the CP election.
TUP and Paul Tyndale don't deserve your vote this month. This is standard complacency which has come from the party. No articles, not even any real public announcement of any sort. They think that they've got the election wrapped up without justifying why they should be in charge.
A win for TUP will show them that they don't need to put an actual effort in. Just take a look at their party, they're more than happy to be complacent there if given the choice and look how that turned out, they lost the top 1 spot. Something which they should have been able to hold onto easily.
The only feasible solution, to show parties like this that they can't just get by on this and that they actually need to put up some sort of justification is to vote for their closest rival in this election.
That would be Horice.
Yes, I'm very well aware he's a 'joke' candidate. But at least he's been making a comment here and there, at least people have come forward to write articles supporting him (other than this ofc) Worst possible scenario is that Woldy takes control of the country (as if that would be bad anyway) If a 'proper' candidate from TUP is one which writes no articles and no comments and does nothing but rely on party support to quietly win in the election then how are they any better than a 'joke' candidate?
Horice is currently at 19 votes to Paul Tyndale's 18. We can definitely do this, and we should.
This is why I have voted for Horice and I hope you'll do the same.

Given that more than 50% of the discussion in Congress is by Hail Astrid and people supporting him/her/it and something like 90% of the articles in the media have been about supporting someone posting crude and disgusting pictures, that doesn't really say a lot for writing articles.
Fortunately Astrid has finally been banned so we can live in hope that some people might try discussing important matters.
Now, if I win and I do a bad job than that's my fault and you can criticise me accordingly.
If Horice wins and he takes it seriously and does a good job then that's good and in consequence I don't then have to do anything other than be a member of Congress.
If however the candidate you have labelled as a joke wins, who you have supported and have urged others to support along with the eUK's biggest party and then he doesn't do a good job then what does that tell you?
Either way I win - remember I'm not one of those people who are in it just for medals.
I was going to vote for you btw, so were others who now are voting for Horice. It was and is nothing against you other than the flaw of a lack of information.
All I wanted was anything of substance, a cabinet, maybe some details of the new alliance, which I know you can get access to, the stuff TUP won't even tell their own MoFA at the time. If that's being hidden from congress and ministers then I expect that to come up somewhere in the election.
Huey goes on the WRP feed asking about who's making proper runs, I respond that you're the only serious candidate, and that you'll probably release articles soon. 3 days go by and nothing happens.

That 2nd piece of information is not even something which has been released, thats just something I have heard.
It doesn't matter if Horice does a 'bad job'. Even in that circumstance Woldy has control.

Except for the two days where I took over the media, and the two most recent days which are full of "Support Horice" articles.
Paul is an excellent candidate for CP, and frankly should have stood a long time ago (I used to try and get him to stand when I was in TUP over a year ago).
However, how can anyone vote for Paul and TUP when there were no articles, manifestos, public announcements, policies, who's-in-the-cabinet lists etc etc. At this stage we would literally be voting purely for the name (which, in itself, may be enough to get Paul through). And given that the outgoing TUP CP Arrlo hasn't had much to say in public during his term, another month of silent behind-closed-doors government may not be what people want.
While Paul may be good and all that I cannot reasonably allow myself to let somebody who's not even released a troll article saying "I'm running lol penis" win.
Arrlo's starting to grate on me for being a quiet bugger and even he bloody published one article during his run. Published it twice, even. Any less substance than this and I'd have to throw myself off a bridge.
If Horice wins we'll have a functioning government.
People are ready and willing to get involved and we'll do a bit more than just talk to congress.
Ultimately the public will decide on our alliance and our dictator.
Also, it'll be the best election since UKRP Winston 2k10.

Paul would have made a fantastic President.
