[UK-Gov] On Russia's NE and a thank you to Hungary

Hello there

Mittekemuis has released a wonderful article with most international government newspapers in it. A lot of detail has been taken into the making of the article and I'd appreciate it if you could send a vote or two that way.

Yesterday was a pretty wild day, with Russia coming at us with a wild Natural Enemy proposal and a rogue proposal following from Ireland. Admittedly there was a bit of confusion with regards to congress at first but that had been cleared up a bit.

Anyway, there are two main elements to this article, which are:

- Russia's Natural Enemy proposal on the UK and,
- Hungary's Natural Enemy proposal on Russia



Russia's NE
Firstly before I go into details, I'd like to thank the opposition parties for voting down the Natural Enemy proposal.

Yesterday there was a distinct amount of confusion after Russia proposed the UK as natural enemy. We contacted the Russian government and were told eventually that this would be a "real war". This was after their MoFA, OddKid, was being slippery about the whole thing but they later confirmed it after we proposed our NE law. Our congress were ordered to vote yes as a result. We were also told that the opposition to the government had been against it and were attempting to vote it down.



After several hours we assumed and were later told that it was a failed attempt to provoke the UK into declaring Russia as natural enemy instead of the vice-versa, making us look like the people who declared the war, which would cause a rift in Bulgaria-UK relations or a smaller chance that there'd be a rift in CoT-UK relations. Congress was ordered to vote down the law proposal after it became evident that Russia's proposal would not pass. Talon clarified the situation beforehand.

All of the natural enemy proposals failed this afternoon.

Madacaion and Count Drakula's involvement
As a result of Talon being at work at the time, Count Drakula and Madacaion were in charge of the situation (as they are Vice president and Prime Minister respectively) until he came online. They had initially told congress to vote yes after being told that the Russian's were indeed invading but later told congress to hold. Madacaion wishes to apologise to congress for the confusion caused yesterday.



Hungary
Hungary, in response to Russia's NE law on the UK, started a natural enemy proposal against Russia in order to defend the UK. As a result of this, I would like to add a brief message to our Hungarian friends:

I'd like to say thank you to Hungary for supporting us while the Russians were trying to go to war with us. It was not only a great sign of our long lasting friendship but a test on Russia's government that our bloc of countries are not to be messed with lightly. I hope that the alliance and friendship continues well into the future. Once again, we thank you and your government for standing up for us.
