[NGP] Presidential Elections, Activity & Lower Taxes

Hey everybody! Im here to share with you our candidate for the upcoming CP elections as well as talk a little bit on the recent activity increase in Norway.

Presidential Elections
The Norwegian Green Party held internal discussion earlier this week and it has bin decided that I myself will have the opportunity to represent not only the NGP but all of Norway once again! Jasper will be taking some well needed time to rest and recuperate and I would like to thank him for flying the Green flag so well these last two months.

The last two months have been enormously successful and we intend to continue on with that success whether militarily, economically or in regards to our new allies. I will be releasing my cabinet and mandate running up until the elections so watch for those articles. I would also like to take this time to ask anybody interested in a cabinet position to please send me a message.

As well I would like to stress that the NGP is a pro-choice party and apart of being pro-choice is to offer more than one to pick from. I would like to invite any other candidates from the other party's to join me in running for CP. Not only is it more fun and exciting for everyone to watch and enjoy the elections for once it forces candidates to become more creative and to actually work out a full mandate to offer to everyone. And just think, what if every party backed one candidate and that one candidate suddenly disappeared or started going crazy, who are you going to replace him with then? Its in everyone's best interests to have a second candidate and even a third or fourth candidate! Lets make this month, the most exciting Presidential elections we have ever seen!



Increase in Activity
We have bin pleasantly pleased to have seen such a rise in recent party politics. For the first time in months we have seen other party's release articles which is a very welcome site. This is a very encouraging sign for all of Norway but whether or not they will only be released once before every Congress election or on a regular basis remains to be seen. The NGP has become an active force in Norway and our activity has driven others to increase theirs. However the NGP does activity best and we will remain the best at it. Our party is constantly in communication via our party tools and we remain fully committed to increasing activity nation wide.



Lowering Taxes
A recent NGP motion was finally voted on with a total of 9 legal Yes votes cast in favour making the motion binding. You can see the in game vote here. Our Weapons Import Tax has bin lowered to 8% and our VAT Tax to 5%. This will effectively allow Norwegian weapons manufactures to make more money on their products because of a lower VAT Tax, meaning the Government receives less money from sold products. We are hoping that this will help decrease the weapons prices on the markets and allow all Norwegians to enjoy the benefits of lower prices for weapons. Should this not drive weapons prices down and manufactures look at this as a way to earn way more money than we will need to explore going back to the old system.
