Note about Work Tax as requested by Congress

Below is a simple representation of the proportions our taxation generates daily

As you can see in the representation, Work Tax has the largest effect on tax revenue generated. A 2% Work Tax generates the United Kingdom an estimated 4-5k a day (130-150k over a month) with 100% (or 12 out of 12) of our core regions. Whilst simplistic to say a 1% Work Tax has the effect of halving our revenue to 2-3k a day (60-90k over a month) and a 4% (the current Work Tax rate) doubling our income to 9-10k a day (270k-300k over a month).

Additional revenue via Import Tax and VAT is mostly minimum especially considering the current rate of 1% VAT across the board however VAT has been known to add upwards of 20-30k a month rate dependent, during tournaments or significant periods of consumer spend during significant conflicts.

As a reminder the number of our core regions we hold affects our Country's Income. There is a Base Income of 20% meaning we'd get 20% of our revenue if we held none of our original regions. The remaining 80% of our revenue is dependent on the number of our original regions currently under our control divided the number of our original regions times 80%. So if we hold all our regions we get the base 20% plus 80% giving us all our daily revenue if we held half our regions we'd get the base 20% plus 40% with the final 40% going to our occupiers giving us 60% of our daily revenue.

Finally as a reverse of the paragraph above we'd get a proportion of any other Country's Daily Tax Revenue if we were to occupy their core regions as an additional source of revenue.

What is an appropriate level is largely dependent on the number of MPPs we'd like to hold as a Country and spend on COs or other initiatives, which Congress and the CP constantly review.

Future Training Ground Loans

As has become routine the Ministry of Finance offer loans to citizens during promotional periods to help them upgrade their strength buildings.

Upgrading your strength buildings is the best way to earn income as it allows you to receive Super Solider medals much quicker. A Q4 Weights Room & Q4 Climbing Center (without any contract training) earns the most money of any training/contract combination. Together they will earn you 13.38g/month (0.446g/day) after you pay the daily training.

Please note the Ministry of Finance will only approve new loan applications during promotional periods so make sure you subscribe to the Bank of England News so you can use the banner link above to apply for a loan when the next promotional period starts. You may apply speculatively if you desire however the best advice is to stay active, informed and put an application during a promotional period
