Recruitment mainly focuses on external stuff to try and bring in new citizens to help the country. Gifting is important to people who are new and don't quite understand how to keep wellness up or can't get it higher for a number of reasons, we're here to help with that. Entertainment and Media are closely linked, Entertainment is here to make the eUK Forums more exciting for those that are on it and usually at the end of a Presidential Term we have a big celebration. Media on the other hand deals with releasing fun articles about what's been happening the eUK Media on a weekly basis.- Daniel Thorrold

The Ministry of Communications is the main point of contact between the government and citizens, so whenever you get a mass pm or look at the great eUK wiki portal it has been created by the MoComms. Even if you don't have the time to be an apprentice, you can still help out in this forum.

Minister Statement:
The Ministry of Communications focuses on connecting with the mass public of the eUK. We create articles with a wide range of topics to inform and educate citizens, and work on updating the wiki to provide the latest and most accurate information. We also have a mentoring programme that assists new citizens. Finally, we try to message as many people as possible to tell them what is going on around the eUK and how they can be more involved. This ministry, which has been branched off from the old MoHA, operates much of the Open Government section of the eUK forums, in which everyone, whether they are in the ministry or not, can lend a hand in improving the eUK community- Stefan1992

Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Minister: GGRyan
Junior Minister: Sir Humphrey Appleby

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is an extremely important Ministry in the UK, dealing with our relationships with other nations and with our alliance. The MoFA is comprised of a number of diplomats to every nation around the world, who strengthen our relationships with allies and build relationships with neutral and enemy nations.

Minister Statement:The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is extremely important now mainly because the UK, and indeed, every other nation, is vitally affected by different changes in diplomatic climates across the world. Regions are gained by support from our allies; wars break out because of tensions and alliance alignment. Our job is to keep the eUnited Kingdom aware and informed of the climate in each and every eCountry and to also speak as representatives of our country to foreign powers to try and firstly benefit from good relations across the globe, and to secondly make vital agreements and arrangements to help promote us economically and militarily. Our recent victory in New York, for example, was only possible because of careful diplomacy with participating countries who through our work helped fight alongside us to help defend our foreign policy and national interests. Without a Foreign Office, we would have been wiped out a very long time ago!-Sir Humphrey Appleby

Ministry of Finance

Minister: Margaret H Thatcher
Junior Minister: Steven Mack

The Ministry of Finance is the ministry that manages the economy of the eUK, meaning it has a critical role in government. The MoF controls the Bank of England, the key organisation holding much of the UK's money and also is used to manage the flow of currency into the market. The MoF is also charged with regulating the monetary markets, to help them from being attacked by malicious traders and to keep currency exchange rates at a reasonable level. It also controls the budget of the United Kingdom, which means it supplies money to other ministries and the military when requested. This means the MoF can have a big affect on every citizen, whether it's determining whether governmental schemes are financially viable or just regulating the monetary market, meaning you can get gold or GBP at reasonable prices.

Ministry of Trade

Minister: C B Fry
Junior Minister: Sir Humphrey Appleby

The Ministry of Trade handles issues dealing with economic surplus and trade through foreign markets. Although it is necessary for the MoT to work closely with the MoW to have something to compare the foreign markets to, the MoT is be confined to helping through the use of currency management (for foreign currency transfers), foreign market analysis, and benchmarking currency through allies for easier trading capabilities. The Ministry of Trade is also tasked with identifying possible trade deals with allied nations.

Ministry of Work

Minister: Master Hofkens
Junior Minister: Jhorlin

The Ministry of Work provides employment to new players, as well as coordinating the running of military companies with the Army. It also monitors the domestic markets for supply and demand issues and briefs the cabinet on the state of the domestic market. It also encourages new players to take up jobs in industries that are understaffed or suffering from low productivity via ingame advertisement. The MoW mainly affects new players, providing jobs to lower level players who may not have been employed otherwise. Many players, including mine, first jobs were working in the excellent MoW of work companies.

Ministry of Legislative Affairs

The Ministry of Legislative Affairs currently manages the House of Commons (Congress) with the Minister essentially fulfilling a Speaker role. The ministry is also charged with administrating the Public Discussion, House of Commons and Voting Hall forums as per the Legislative Procedure Rules.
