[CP] Thank you!

Remember remember the 5th of October, wait no that’s not right! Well damn, I shall remember this one either way. It is the end of my CP term, and I have enjoyed the ride that it has been. I ran for CP unopposed because Homer stepped down after seeing I was pushing hard for this position, and I thank him for that.
I had outlined things I wanted to accomplish for my term, but had no specific or exact set goals because in the position it can be often hard to reach them. Instead I hoped that my term, along with my team would work to better Canada in some simple, but key aspects. To which, I believe we have succeeded in several degrees.
Canada worked hard to be a sound and solid voice within LETO, and in Asteria too. Our relations with many other countries has been great, and I believe there is a strong international feeling that Canada means business. With the recent Foreign Affairs dance, I believe Canada has proven to be an asset to any relation.
One of the main reasons for this was our ability to wage war on an epic scale. At the beginning of my term I was approached by a portion of our community about sending off an AS. I liked the idea as war is fun, but our target didn’t have any significance on a large scale. Regardless things were getting into motion when we ourselves were targeted for an AS. This was quite exciting because it made the fight all that much more glorious, fighting for our lands. When Chile decided to attack, it turned into a fight for survival, but regardless, Canada and our allies stood ready for the barrage.
I am quite proud of all you Canadians, our friends, allies, and tanks. What happened was not quite what I expected. Canada defeated two much larger countries simultaneously on our own land, then moved to push Chile out of Europe and much of South America. We then danced around Poland, and freed a region for Belarus. The whole process saw Canada directly helping friends of ours all across the map. I am very happy for this, and hope to see these relations continue to grow! PM me if you ever have questions
As for our national affairs, we had dealt with PTO efforts, and have thus far been successful in keeping those threats to a minimal. This was done by several key players in our Community, and I thank them for that, as I had not played much part in the work.
We have also set up the MoH program again, with a huge thanks to Folphjorg for his great work. I wished that Doctor of Souls would have been more cooperative with the easy and effective program Folph already set up, but alas I guess he was in it for his own glory. I hope that the next administration keeps Folph doing what he is doing!
As the term has wound down, I have been quite inactive, as I am currently working in Mexico finishing up a project. I swear the pigeons fly faster than my internet here… Regardless our country is not in shambles and I look forward to the progress that Canada can continue to make.
If any CP or Minister or whoever in this game needs help, just PM me. I have seen again how important cooperation and teamwork are in this game, and must thank you all for assisting me where you could!

I still say you ought to ditch that band of silly hippies and come to MDP. You're one of the few CPFers worthy of this most gracious offer.

I cannot help but feel that every CP term that leaves us without any alliance with the eUS to link the territory of eN. America together, is another wasted term. Inviting a permanent occupation like the one we narrowly missed with ePoland is not something that fun or even preferable to "holding our land." We have a decent fun with TWs and remote AS, lets insure them with recovering our permanent alliance with America.
Either way, this next month will be interesting.
You want USA so bad run for CP and start building the bridge.

There is no such thing as a permanent alliance with America. There is "we are neighbors nothing more," there is "we are at war", and there is "America is right behind you, Canada - with a knife in our hands." I'll take "neighbors nothing more" every time, thanks.
