Will I Stand By You?

Fellow eSouth Africans

I must say I'm used to criticism of a denouncing nature. I'm of course referring to the article written by Marmaduke.

Something Grimstone has said to me various times was that I emit a ray of uncertainty. It's something I've tried to fight and still it's something I've been unable to successfully counter. I'm not a man of profound speeches or promises. In each of my 10+ terms as Minister of Domestic Affairs I tried to prove myself as a man of the people; a man for eSouth Africa.

It all boils down with one thing:
Will I stand by you?

I stood by Crumoet when Indonesia invaded us in July 2011
I stood by Locutus and other people who were forum-censured for fighting against eBrazil.
I stood by Samgibz when he started the New Player Program.
I stood by Mark Morcom and Chucker in MoS as Director of Immigration and Intelligence
I stood by Ricky as Vice President.
I stood by Had3z as adviser in his presidency.
I've stood by the New Player Program and SAWGO.
I've stood by eSA in its struggle for freedom.
I've stood by untrusted foreigners in their bid to beat unreasonable concerns voiced against them.
I've stood by UP when its foundations were laid:
I've stood by our government as loyal Congress Member, Minister, Vice President, Speaker, Deputy Speaker, Congressional Moderator, Director, Prime Minister and Intern.
I've stood by NaN as Tribune for two terms.
I've stood by eSA in the Epic Warfare Tournament.
I've stood by the community when our CP was mute
I've stood by the community when our Forum Admin went too far.
I've stood against PTO'ers
I've stood by my fellow eSAAF'ers in #eSAAF-MA, #MUSA and many more channels.
...

Odds are when something has happened in eSA in the last 2 years, I've been there. Admittedly I'm a man of extreme passion. No cause is too great and there's just no way I can exclude myself from fighting for what's right, especially when others remain idle and obscured. Where others try seeing "us vs them" I try seeing "right vs wrong" or "good vs bad".

As much as it pains me to use "I" so many times, there's just no way I can explain the passion within me any other way. It's an introspective issue.

Now for explaining the why I have a passion for eSA:
ARRMD and eSAAF gave me supplies, mentoring and moral support.
You gave me gold for a newspaper
You supplied SAWGO and the NPP
You've fought valiantly for eSA
You've voted for me in Congress Elections
You've given me a chance to be CP
You've allowed me to fight for our alliance
You've entrusted me with big responsibilities
You've voted and commented on my articles
You've secured freedom for our country
You've reported hundreds of multis
You've made a forum, created a government and laws even before I came.
You've comforted me when times were tough.
You've formed active cabinets
You've fielded capable CPs
You've fought alongside me on the battlefield
...ok this list would technically need a dozen pages

Our country depends on its community. There's a very engrossing feeling knowing that the community predates your e-birth, that it currently thrives(in relative terms), but also that it will continue to exist long after you leave. That's the property of our community: it's an ever-fixed mark that has stayed and probably will stay in the same place for a long time.

It therefore allows me a great deal of honor to be a puzzle piece - completing a big puzzle:

...knowing that we will complete the bigger puzzle - together

We cannot afford alienating our fellow eSouth Africans neither can we afford to hand the very thing we love the most(our community) to those who want to do us harm.

We can overcome turbulent times if we tackle everything together.

We must not only accept a person for his/her skill, but also for his character. We must seize from alienating fellow party members. We must minimize infighting; we must objectively approach infighting and prevent people from leaving because of menial issues.

If we stop internal turbulence we will overcome threats easier. We will allow more good opportunity and we will attract more people to take part in our community. All because we'll be able to accomplish these things once we've placed ourselves in a good position.

Within all these opinions, thoughts and ideals stands my intent to become our country's President.
