Friends, Supporters and Fellow Citizens,

My name is Jasper Signa and I am running for my 5th term as your congressman from the great state of Kentucky. I represent our country as a member of the Federalist Party. I have worked hard these past four months to consistently promote new ideas, generate discussion and represent all Americans, and my Congressional peers have consistently ranked as one of the hardest working and most respected Congressman in peer reviews.

I serve proudly today not only as a congressman, but also as a member of the President’s Economic Council, a member of the eUS Cavalry, and a worker for the Department of Interior’s program Meals on Wheels. I am also proud of my heritage as an officer in the United States Training Corps.

For those of you who do not know me, here are a few of my past Campaign Platforms:

September Platform - Leadership or Girls in Bikinis America
October Platform- Pro Business Pro Accountability
December Platform-New Ideas for a New era

My concerns about the economy and government accountability are not just campaign slogans, in my three months in congress I have brought forward legislation or led discussions on the following issues:

1. Adjusting Import Taxes
2. Auditing the Federal Government's Orgs so we know what resources are available to the country
3. Proposing legislation to create a Small Business Administration to help new General Managers
4. Proposing legislation for the creation of a Strategic Food Reserve
5. Leading an exhaustive study on the tax advantages of US based Companies over Foreign Importers
6. How best to increase our National Production without increasing Demand
7. Authored Legislation reforming the Congressional Budget Process
8. Authored Legislation to reinstate the position of the Comptroller General, to ensure transparency in our financial systems
9. Sponsored an amendment to the Constitution to require Line Holders to use the money authorized by them in the budget, in accordance with Congress’s wishes.

Speaker of the House
While normally I would take this time to detail a few policy objectives, this time I would like to announce my intention to serve as the 38th Congress’ Speaker of the House. I have already talked to a number of sitting congress critters who are supportive of my candidacy and I have every expectation of reaching a sufficient number of nominations to at least be considered a candidate.

As Speaker of the House I have five main objectives that I hope to achieve.

1. Improve the Congressional Processes:
by clearing up confusing language in the eUS Code, providing tighter controls on who has and doesn’t have permissions on the Congressional Proceedings boards and better organizing information to make it usable to Congress and the Public.

2. Increase Congressional Transparency:
by ensuring all discussion except Budget, Military and other limited sensitive topics are debated in the public viewable threads of the eUS forum.

3. Reconstitute our resource guides for new Congress men and women:
by rebuilding articles on the most important topics to ensure new congress men and women have the best possible start in our nation’s legislative process.

4. Bring back the Congressional Paper:
by ensuring we have writers detail weekly recaps of Congressional activity and track the voting record of their Congress peoples.

5. Improve communication with the other branches of government:
Following up on the relatively successful discussion with the JCS last term, I would like to expand that type of discussion with the other areas of the executive branch including but not limited to the President, the Department of Interior and the State Department.

While I cannot guarantee that all of these objectives will be achieved, I intend to use a coalition of the willing to tackle as many of these topics as possible, whether your an old Congressman from WWIII or a new citizen of only 3 months old, if you are willing to work hard you are likely to find yourself with responsibility for doing something.

Every vote matters so please make a difference to help improve our country, leave your comments so I can address your concerns in January!
